The Hogwarts Entrance Hall is located on the ground floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with a wide marble staircase opposite the oak doors. Double doors to the right lead into the Great Hall.

The Grand Staircase is a massive structure in Hogwarts Castle, mainly used to access each floor of the castle, including the dungeons. The stairs also have a knack for moving around the staircase chamber.

The office in which the current headmasters or headmistresses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry work during the school year, located in the Headmaster's Tower, reached by means of a circular, moving stone staircase, which in turn is concealed by a gargoyle on the third floor.

Students who suffer mishaps and injuries during the school year are sent or brought to the hospital wing for treatment, and only six visitors are allowed at one time for one person.

The Hogwarts Library is located on the second floor of Hogwarts Castle and contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Overseen by Madam Irma Pince, the library is where students can go to peruse or borrow books to supplement their studies.

The Study Hall is a room in Hogwarts Castle where students usually do their homework or study for the exams. It is overlooked by Madam Pince.

The shared lounge areas for each of the four houses of Hogwarts. The common rooms feature fireplaces and sitting areas and are decorated in house colours. They are often used to do homework and to socialize with housemates.

The Room of Requirement, also known as the Come and Go Room, is a secret room within Hogwarts Castle that only appears when a person is in great need of it.

For the bad students of Hogwarts

The school has its own Quidditch pitch where each house's Quidditch teams practice and play games against each other. Each year will see a total of six inter-house matches, along with numerous training sessions by each house team.

A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students. It's warm and comfortable, is packed every time goes in, and is a great spot to drink butterbeer , although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella

Rumored to be the most haunted house in Britain.

Scrivenshaft sells quills and stationary.

A wizarding post office where at least three hundred owls, from Great Grays to tiny Scops ("Local Deliveries Only"), wait to carry messages. They sit on shelves that are color-coded, depending on how fast you want your letter to get to its destination

A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street.

A tiny, dark platform where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle

A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable

Dervish & Banges sells and repairs Magical Intruments.

Gladrags sells wizard robes.

Department of Magical Games and Sports, seen as the most relaxed department (posters for favourite Quidditch teams are found tacked to the walls), deals with organising sports events the likes of the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament.

Department of Magical Transportation is responsible magical transport. It is located on the sixth level and includes the following offices: the Floo Network Authority, the Broom Regulatory Control, the Portkey Office, and the Apparition Test Centre, that grants licences to witches and wizards so that they can apparate.

Department of International Magical Cooperation is an agency that attempts to get wizards from different countries to cooperate in wizarding actions both political and public.

Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures is divided into three divisions and contains the Goblin Liaison Office and Centaur Liaison Office.

Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes is responsible for repairing accidental magical damage. It is located on the third level of the Ministry of Magic.
