"Actually, we weren't but I can start something. We're always up for a party, no matter what." Tristen was tempted to yell at Dante for his ignorant thoughts. Currently, there were more Slytherin Death Eaters but that number was closely followed by Ravenclaws. Of course. They were smart and they knew what side they needed to be on.
"Alma? Have you lost it? A Gryffindor at a Slytherin party?" Tristen reached out go pull Alma to him and he placed a hand on her cheek. "These parties can get a little crazy, Alma, and I can only guarantee your safety. I can't babysit a cowardly lion."
With a sigh Tristen looked at Dante. "Show up, the parties are open to all houses. My suggestion? Wear something not as noticeable and blend in. We have had to wheel people out in body bags."

Alma smirked devilishly, suddenly excited by the prospect of a party that could possibly lead to trouble. She wasn’t afraid of getting into sticky situations, often then invigorated her, even though sometimes her mind told her otherwise. She wanted to finally experience the Slytherin parties that she had heard so much about from Aspen Garet, a Slytherin 5th year. Apparently they were insane and she wasn’t about to pass that up. She looked up at Tristen, her eyes blazing with something that was slightly out of character for her.
She laughed, but it came out as more malicious then she had intended, “I’m sure Dante can take care of himself.” She said quietly and then raised her eyebrows, “Right?” She looked straight at Dante, her heart suddenly beating a little bit faster from excitement. She was already busy mentally picking through her closet, searching for something that would make her irresistible.

Dante sighed. "I can take care of myself...you don't have to worry about that..." Dante was getting annoyed by this Slytherin, he just assumed Dante was cowardly. Dante could always just slip out if he didn't like it. If anyone started something he knew how to handle it.

"I like that-" Tristen cut himself off as he watched Alma pick through her closet. Gaining control of replying to things that people thought was a lot harder than he thought. Most people thought very nasty things towards him and he had recently been struggling to not yell and scream.
"Wear something nice, Alma, but not too Charity," Tristen looked over at Dante and sneered. "It would seem as if I'm already having trouble keeping a hold on you. I don't wish to be throwing hexes all night."

Alma furrowed her eyebrows a little as she stared at Tristen, curious what he had actually wanted to say. She shrugged it off, determining that it was nothing, "Not too, Charity." She repeated and then pulled herself out of Tristen's grasp. She was most certainly not going to be clinging tonight. Not on her life. She would make him work for it.
"Well...I'm off to get ready. I hope to see you-" She looked at them, "both tonight." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and then turned dramatically but almost toppled over. She cursed herself for the failed theatrics.

Dante was quick on his heels when he saw Alma almost fall and he quickly said. "Are you ok?" He knew he should at least check; it was more than the Slytherin would do. Dante looked at her for a moment up and down to check to see if she was ok...and totally not because he'd have this chance to check her out!

"Oh god...yes! Yes, I'm fine! Thanks for asking..." Alma said her voice cracked a little bit at the top; she was clearly embarrassed. She could feel her face growing more and more red as she looked between Dante and Tristen, "I'm just....I'm just going to go." She had completely lost her cool and was now struggling to get it back, but she was failing miserably. She turned away from the two boys and began walking to the castle, running a hand through her dark hair. It was definitely going to be a long week.

Tristen was having the extreme urge to punch this kid's face in. He fought it by running a hand through his hair, while taking a few deep breaths. He slowly walking after Alma, pausing by Dante.
"Listen, kid, you're out of your element here. Stay away from Alma and you'll be fine." Tristen tightened his fist as he glared at Dante. He had just got Alma back, he was not going to lose her again.
"Alma, let me walk you to the castle. I'm heading that way anyway." He called out after her, jogging up to her. He got to her and threw a glsre over his shoulder. He smirked and put an arm around Alma's shoulder.

Dante shook his head and a smirk tugged at his lips. "Oh..is that how it is?" Dante's hand reached for his wand as he watched them walk off. He wasn't jealous but he didn't take threats lightly and this was threat he wouldn't mind provoking. Dante was tempted to do something...anything just to prove a point but he decided against it.

Alma smiled as Tristen became protective of her. She had missed him. She wouldn't lie. It was an odd situation though, he had never outright been this affectionate toward her, especially not when they had seen each other last at her sisters wedding. She furrowed her eyebrows, but then decided that it was better to just shrug it off.
She turned to look over her shoulders, throwing a short look at Dante. He was a nice guy. She felt sorry for him because Tristen could often be extremely abrasive when it came to everyone else. She turned to look at Anderson, "Thanks." She said, comfortable with his arm around her.
