"Well that's funny...because she was the one who came looking for me this morning to read with her. Not you! I distinctly remember her coming home completely sloshed from a party and tell me that she never wanted to see you again! HA!" Grayson growled and approached Marcus, "Funny how that works isn't it? You're not used to someone being better than you, are you? Especially not some pathetic human." His eyes searched Marcus' for something, anything to tell him that he had struck some sort of vein and he found it. A glimmer of humanity. For some reason, Marcus really wanted Lauren Bennett.

Marcus sighed. He struggled for a moment before he gave up. He could do that. There was nothing wrong with it. If he wanted to have human emotions, why not act human? Although the sadness that went through his body contradicted him.
"Fine, Grayson, have her." Marcus looked up, his black eye's meeting Grayson's mixed eyes. He smiled through it and managed a small, evil, chuckle. "But I get Charity." Marcus turned and started back down the hill to where Charity was.

Grayson growled, something low and guttural as he watched Marcus retreat back down the hill. Fine. If Marcus wanted to play this game, then they would. Grayson would just have to keep everything bottled up for a while until this all blew over. He would also need a plan. Step One: Find Lauren Bennett. Step Two: Seduce Lauren Bennett. He silently cursed step two. Why had he picked Lauren, again? She was such a handful...always wanting to read literature of some sort. He groaned. Step Three: Learn something about literature. Step Four: Piss the fu.ck out of Marcus. Sounded like a plan to him.
