Charity sighed, trailing a hand over the top of the fireplace. She was happy that she had established her power again. No matter what, power was the one thing Charity held over everything. She valued it even more than her happiness. She may not exactly like putting her hands on someone but she would to show how powerful she was. It was the Slytherin thing to do.
"Right, Sabrine, you haven't exactly gained my respect, you just haven't found your place. A few more kicks and you should find it." Charity turned to look at Sabrine, raising an eyebrow. "You should know, DeFarrars, that it would benefit you more to work with me, not against me. Don't think you could even start on the same level, either, you've got a long ways to go."
Charity picked up a small, crystal snake that sat on the mantel and dropped it, watching it shatter on the ground. Interesting as usual. The tiny tinkle of crystal as it skittered across the floor filled the small pocket of silence.
"First, you should know that attitude won't get you far. Defiance won't either. That only gets you far when you're me. Only gets you somewhere if everyone is afraid of you. Only gets you somewhere if everyone knows who you are. Right now, you should always be compliant. Always follow commands. Always do what you're told. Be a good girl." Charity slowly slinked her way back towards Quinn, running a few fingers through her hair and trailing one down her jaw, pulling her chin up slightly.
"Quinn knows I haven't always been like this. Once I had to be like you. Patient. Waiting. Patience is what gets you to the top." Charity let go of Quinn's chin and looked back at Sabrine. She smiled slightly, perching herself on the arm of the couch, crossing her long legs. "Why aren't you taking notes? This is valuable information."
