Marcus sighed as he tried to stall walking into the stuffy old hall that was no doubt awash with tension and excitement paired with the chatter off housemates reacquainting. Sometimes he just wished he could skip this whole parade and go and mess around in the common room. Marcus briefly squeezed Fae's shoulder before he cast a long look down at her, contemplating.
"If you really must know, there has only been two that I was truly involved with. The other one was when a girl tried to tack me down with a pregnancy but I always wear a glove if I want to love. But the first one was Adultery. Though I had no clue the girl was married and it wasn't like she tried to stop me or anything. The second was between a teacher and I.. it didn't turn out well." Marcus rubbed a palm over his chest as he thought about it. He really had grown fond of the teacher.
"None of it really matters anymore. Just a few simple mistakes that stupid boys like I make. We can't help it. Sometimes we think with the wrong head." Marcus smiled. "Tell me about you instead of my boring life story."

William broke out into his all too famous smile. That seemed to cheer Charity up most times. He moved slowly towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She said she was sorry? It wasn't a proper sorry, but he'd still never thought he'd here Charity Anderson say she was sorry. He must really have some effect on her....But she had a major effect on him. "No need to be sorry, you didn't cause me any trouble at all.."
She mentioned about the show they put on. "Indeed we did...But I like to think that's just the warm-up act..." William bent down to look her in the eyes and smiled once again. She didn't seem to want to make eye contact so he had to. He wasn't quite sure what they were but he certainly didn't want it to stop and he definitely didn't want it to change. "Now c'mon we better head into the Great Hall..."

Fae nodded as she let the information sink in. The teacher one was the one that bothered her most, though she couldn’t pin point why. He seemed sincere enough and he definitely was right about boys. She smiled and leaned into him a bit more in a way of comfort? She wasn’t sure. She just wanted him to know that she believed in putting the past behind.
“Me? There’s not much to tell. I’ve lived in Paris my whole life until my parents got relocated to England this summer. I couldn’t go to my old school for some reason, so I was enrolled here.” Fae shrugged. All she knew about their relocation was the fact that her father had stumbled upon something he wasn’t supposed to. “I get a fresh start here, so it’s nice.”
Her mind wandered back to the teacher. Who was it? Why would a professional act so carelessly?
She was glad he wasn’t a baby daddy. Those situations are all sorts of screwed up and she didn’t want to be a part of one in any way.
“So what other helpful hints do you have for me about surviving Hogwarts?”

Charity braced her hands on William's chest when his arms came around her waist. She smiled in relief as she instantly calmed down. Charity's hands stretched her fingers in a lazy, comfortable motion and managed a smile while making eye contact with him. "Just the warm up act? Planning on giving them the full show right here or will it be a private showing only?" Charity all but purred the words as her tongue flicked out over her top lip.
Charity brought her palm up, concentrating on William's face as he tried to memorize every part of his face, and laid it on William's cheek, absently pressing her thumb to the corner of William's laughing mouth. Charity couldn't think of the right word to describe him. The only word that came to mind was...
"Gorgeous..." Charity murmured under her breath, her eyes flicking up to meet his hesitantly.
------------------------------------------
Marcus nodded, thinking over the information with a small smile. "Paris, huh, is it truly the most romantic city? Because then you're going to hate it here. Hogwarts is the slums compared to that. No whine and cheese served here.
"Let's go into the hall. We can continue this later..."

William held her tightly. Not wanting to let go at all. He didn't want to go into the Great Hall even, if he did they'd be separated and have to wait that entire speech, the sorting ceremony and the meal to be free to properly see each other again. Why was he so attached to her? He'd actually fallen for her.
She spoke about giving them a full show but before he could answer she had her palm to his cheek. His expression turned serious and then she spoke softly under her breath. Gorgeous. She was looking at him and describing him. Words didn't even describe how she looked. He couldn't believe it, he'd actually truly fallen for her. William looked at her and his eyes showed the every feeling that coursed through his body.
"Charity...I..I..I don't want to leave you.." That wasn't what he was originally going to say, but it worked kind of the same.

Charity's eyes widened at the emotion that was so clear in his eyes that she barely stopped herself from gasping. Charity dropped her head, cutting off eye contact when William spoke. She heard the meaning underneath, the meaning giving her chills as her heart thudded to a halt. Charity seriously doubted she could even breath properly.
She chewed her lip for a moment, resting her head against his chest as she tried to get her mind to kick in but it was leaving her by herself. Not even her conscious spoke to her. All she could hear was the sound of William's heart beat and his even breathing, giving her comfort with each breath he took.
Her heart suddenly grabbed hold of the message it'd been waiting for and sprinted to the finish as Charity sucked in a breath and looked up at William, the familiar blurring of tears unshed only making him even more gorgeous than he was.
"William..." Charity sucked in another deep breath to sate her aching lungs. "Oh, I love you." She breathed, not sure how loud it was, just caring that he heard it.

He let her head rest against his chest. Not sure what was wrong or what he'd said. When she looked at him he saw tears in her eyes and his felts a deep burning within him as he too began welling up with tears. He couldn't believe it he was on the verge of crying just because he'd seen tears in Charity's eyes. He didn't know what was wrong with him. He'd never felt like this for anyone. Ever.
Her words brushed his ears. They didn't register straight away. He had a few moment of complete stillness, not even breathing and then they registered. Love. She said she loved him. She said she loved him. SHE SAID SHE LOVED HIM! SHE SAID SHE LOVED HIM! His mind rushed and the tears rolled down his cheeks. He grabbed her and held her tight.
"Charity I love you too!..."

Charity was trying so desperately to hold the tears back as she clutched the material of his shirt in her small fist. Charity Anderson wasn't one to cry but she honestly didn't know who this person was that was standing in front of William who was smiling like an idiot, acting embarrassed and making declarations of love. All that matter right now was how safe, warm and welcome she felt enveloped in William's arms.
Charity felt the first tear escape despite her protest and more fell to join them as she tried to breath normally, crushing William to her when they wouldn't stop. They just kept going as if she had never cried in her life. She cried as if the weight of the world had been lifted off her shoulders and wasn't it just that? After a supposed one night stand she had started slipping rather gracefully in love with William, so gracefully she hadn't even noticed.
What seemed to take forever was only actually a few minutes before her tears dried and she pulled back to look William in the eye. "Well, aren't we just a puddle of emotion. I supposed we should get into the hall." Charity glanced around William and looked at the one or two straggling students that still hadn't made it through the door. How she wished she could stay out here in William's arms forever.
Charity's grip tightened on William as she looked up at him, waiting for his answer.

William held her tight while also being crushed by Charity. She was actually crying and so was he. It'd been quite a journey from a one night stand to declaring love in the Entrance Hall. He felt like a dam had just been broken and he'd allowed himself to just do things. Allowed himself to fall in love. She then pulled back and said something about going into the Great Hall.
He thought about it for a while and then looked down at her a small smile creeping onto his face. He looked around to make sure no-one could hear and he leaned in to her ear and whispered. "Are you sure you want to go into the Great Hall? Why don't you stay with me?" After William had done speaking he softly nipped her ear. He moved back a smirk playing on his lips and as slowly pulled away from her grasp as he held her hand slowly moving toward the Room of Requirement.

Charity bit back a moan when she realized just how sensative to William's touch she really was. She had thought over the summer that what she'd felt for William would all but leave but even just feeling his breath ghost past her ear was enough to make her shiver.
God did she want him but this was not the way to be starting off the school year. Despit her being a trouble maker she had never gotten in trouble on the first day of school. "William, we're going to get in trouble." She scolded as she allowed him to pull her along. Maybe allowed isn't the word. William could have her over his shoulder a mere second if she didn't comply. Tis was her way of sticking to a bit of dignity tongiht.
"Where are we going?" She whispered as she looked around the corridor, scared for any teachers going to catch them but the hall was silent.

Fae laughed at Marcus' comparison before walking into the great hall. The room was gorgeous and loud. She grimaced a bit at the onslaught of noise before scanning the room for the table with her colors. She was very glad she had gotten sorted when she got registered. She could not imagine sitting in front of the entire school while the hat mumbles away
Fae broke away from Marcus' side, giving him a smile and a small wave before finding a seat at the end of the Gryffindor table.
She looked trough the room to find that Marcus took a seat at the slytherin table. One more thing she could add to her list of details on the boy. She was still unsure of him. She trusted that he was being truthful, but there just seemed to be something lurking beneath the surface. Not to mention he seemed to have plans for her...
Fae jumped as two boys ran in last minute and slid in next to her. They were panting but had smirks on their faces.
"made it!" the one with brown hair and glasses gasped.
"Good thing too! Mum would flip if she got another owl..." the red head agreed.
Fae shifted uncomfortably. Was this one f the people Marcus had warned her about?
The headmaster began to speak. Fae listened enthusiastically as she learned more about the rituals of her new school. When the food appeared she was delighted.
"Oi, haven't seen you here before," the red head said after shoveling some chicken into his mouth. He offered his hand as he introduced "I'm Ron and this is Harry."
Fae lightly shook the boy's hand and replied after chewing "Fae Roux. I just transferred here."
"welcome Fae!" Harry told her with a smile. "You'll love it here!"
Fae was able to eat some of her dinner before te two began questioning her of France and her old school. She wished dearly that they would quit talking with food in their mouths; she had been spit on multiple times and lost her appetite in the course of their questions.
After being so excited for the dinner, Fae wanted nothing more than to escape now. How long do the dinners usually last?
