Briathos couldn't help it but when she bit him gently his hand moved towards her but it stopped when he realised she wasn't trying anything. He wasn't even sure what would happen if she did bite him. Did he bleed? If so..what was it? These were questions he'd never needed to ask before. He thought about her question for a long time. He should kill her right now. He should erase her from this world. "I might...I'll have to decide later.." His angelic side told him to step away. He couldn't be involved in relationships or anything like that but his other side couldn't let him move.

Theadora was hyper aware of everything around her, especially in this situation. She was playing with fire...figuratively of course. Fire was for Demons and Hell. She wasn't sure what element corresponded to Heaven. Maybe water. She managed to clear her thoughts so that she could focus on what he was doing. Briathos moved his hand and she froze. lips pressed against his skin, still. She drew back so that she could look at him, her eyes searching his face, "What's stopping you, then? We both know how easy it would be." Thea breathed. She reached her hands up and tangled them into his hair, pulling his face closer to hers. She flashed her fangs dangerously, "We both know that I'm a threat to your heavenly Highness."
She pressed her lips to his for a moment and felt something weird when their lips touched. It was like being burned again, but it was pleasant. Oh yes. Definitely playing with fire.

Briathos put his hand back down. "I can't kill you. I have no evidence of your wrong doings and without a clear indication from someone above me then I cannot..." He tried to make it sound all business but he couldn't something slipped through his angelic net. When their lips touched he felt a strange sensation. A chill but also a fire. A feeling he couldn't really explain.
Remember Briathos. You're an Angel. You cannot be involved with such things...especially Vampires...
He suddenly stepped back without warning. He broke all contact with her. He knew the voice was that of an Angel and he needed to stay focused. He wasn't even supposed to speak with her.

Thea opened and closed her mouth in protest. He had broken off the kiss...That had never happened to her before. Normally, the appeal and attitude of Vampirism managed to keep her male friends completely hooked on her. No one had ever broken off one of her kisses before. It was a blow to her self esteem if nothing else. She felt her fangs expose themselves and she looked at him. Her eyes became harsh, her skin cracked around her eyes, also darkening, "What gives, Briathos?!" She growled.
She reached up and touched her face and turned away. She hated when that happened. If Vampires got too upset, their skin began to show it's age...in her case, 200.

Backing up still Briathos looked at her. She was showing her real self now. He tried to formulate and answer but he couldn't. He didn't really know why he broke it off. He heard a voice and it told him to stop so he did. He was reminded of who he was and he needed to keep that in the for front of his mind. "Thea...I just..." He stopped trying to think of what to say. "I cannot do this...I'm an Angel..." Briathos looked down and suddenly some large white wings sprouted from his back easily able to cover them both and leave not gaps. "I'm not supposed to even see you..."

Thea turned around slightly, her face still distorted. She looked at the wings that had come out of his back and were now surrounding them. Beautiful really. She wanted to reach out and touch them, but they seemed too heavenly for her. She would probably destroy them. Her fingers traced one of the larger cracks in her skin and her gaze dropped from the wings, finally settling on Briathos, "Fine, then don't see me anymore." She said and finally regained control. Her skin mended itself and her fangs sunk back into her gums. She cracked her neck and turned around, pushing her way out of the circle he had created for them.
She was upset. She wouldn't admit it to herself, but she felt wounded and rejected. It was a new feeling for her and she wasn't sure how to react. She was about to walk out of the clearing when she turned around and stared at him, "You shouldn't lead women on, Angel. Human, Vampire, Demon, or Angel women. First rule of this world." He hadn't really led her on, she was just undeniably upset.

Briathos felt hurt but her words. He didn't like how he'd made her feel and he knew because he could feel it too. He looked down at his feet and when he looked up he had a look of determination on his face. He looked to where she was heading and he teleported with a flash of light. Some would say why teleport when you have wings but wings are hard to use when travelling horizontally. He appeared in front of her and with one foul swoop he had her pinned against a tree. "I. Did not. Lead you on." Was all he said as their faces were once again merely inches apart.

Thea was about to open her mouth to say something else when he looked up and stared at her. She couldn't quite read his expression, but it looked a little strange. She stared at it, but suddenly, he was in front of her, using all his strength to pin her against a tree. She felt her lip twitch as she was forced to stare into his face, her hazel eyes boring into his bright blue ones. She wanted to hiss and growl at him, flash her fangs, show him how angry she was, but she decided to keep her mouth closed until she could calm down.
One breath. Two breaths. She felt better after about 13, and she felt she was able to talk without lashing out, "Okay. So maybe you didn't." She said honestly and she growled slightly. It was a habit of hers. They were close...too close yet again. Why did this keep happening? She thought to herself. It was frustrating. She wanted to kiss him again. Feel that weird feeling.

Briathos lessened his hold on her keeping his position. "I just wanted you to know..." Briathos leaned in slightly uncontrollably. Their lips made contact once more and the mix of fire and ice sprouted once more inside him. He couldn't help it. The voice from earlier stayed silent this time. Not one ounce of him wanted him to move. His angelic side had been silenced for now, he could now enjoy the moment. Briathos' hands moved through her hair. He'd only just arrived and he was in this situation.

She was listening intently when he loosened his gaze. She rolled her shoulders around as he informed her that he just wanted her to know. She rolled her eyes. Boys were always trying to make up for what they had done wrong and here he was! Hadn't even been on Earth that long and he was already--
And there it was. What Thea had been waiting for. He initiated the kiss, pushing his lips against hers. Theadora's hands wrapped themselves around his neck and she pulled her body closer to his. It had been a long time since she had been kissed like that, ever fiber in her being responded to him. His lips seemed to burn her skin, but she couldn't stop. It was like heaven to her...heaven. If she had had a pulse, it would have been beating out of control by now, but luckily for her, she was dead.
"What-" She pulled back and stared at him, her eyes searching his face, "What are you doing." She said. It wasn't really a question. She knew what he was doing...but she more wanted to know the why.

When they kissed it felt like Briathos would freeze to death but it was strange and pleasant. His body was pressed against hers. Everything was great and he didn't know why he was doing any of it, so when she asked he didn't have any answer prepared or pre programmed. He just had to say something completely for himself. "I...don't know. I just had to...I felt like I just couldn't help myself..." He couldn't explain it. "I just needed to..."

Thea felt energized. Excited. She felt like she was on top of the world. She looked into his eyes as he spoke, thinking about the situation. She had kissed an Angel. And it had been one of the most amazing feelings of her lifetime. In 200 years...nothing else could compare. He was rambling so she stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to his again. That feeling! She thought when the hot and cold mixture hit her again. It had quickly become like a drug to her. She wanted as much of it as she could get. But then her senses were on high alert. She heard something.
She quickly broke the kiss and Thea pressed a finger to his lips to silence Briathos. She had heard the rustling in the bushes to her left and slowly turned her head. It had been stupid of her...to forget why she had been in the woods in the first place. She was supposed to be meeting Valerian. Her breath caught in her chest and she stared at the bushes.
"Thea?" Valerian said as he emerged. He looked a little rough, as if he hadn't gotten enough sleep over the past couple of days. His shirt was half tucked and half-untucked. His hair was in a tousle. He slowly scanned the clearing and took a step back when his eyes finally landed on his sister and Briathos.
