Ambrosette promised herself for her sake and the others around her that she was not going to hex anyone. Her temper was quick to boil but slow to cool. The problem could be long resolved and forgotten before the temper had disappeared. Ambrosette took another deep breath and stalked down random halls, trying to remember where the most peaceful room in the world was through her anger. The Room of Requirement had saved her from so many hexing streaks it wasn’t even funny. She gritted her teeth and walked back and forth, wondering if this was the correct corridor but it finally opened, the door appearing silently.
Ambrosette sighed in relief as she pushed it open and took a seat on the hard floor, her back resting against the couch. She tilted her head back to look at the high ceiling, closing her eyes and feeling the anger basically melt into the floor, making her feel light from the weight that had suddenly lifted. She wouldn’t be disturbed in here. It was a safe place from all the idiots out there that walked past this deserted corridor everyday, not knowing of the beautiful peace they passed by.
Ambrosette wrapped a blanket she pulled off the couch around her, feeling her own body heat warm the small space quickly.

Marcas walked along the corridor, bored. He didn't know what exactly it was he wanted to do. He could go chat up some girls but that usually takes time and doesn't get anywhere interesting until they're at least on a date and alone and that would mean preparing for the date, setting a place up the lot. Pacing the corridor he was looking for something to do. Marcas caught the door to the Room of Requirement open out the corner of his eye.
What the hell? He'd never noticed there was a room here before. It seemed to appear right out of the wall. Marcas stared at it for a few moments. Hesitant to walk in. He waited and he waited and he waited. but his curiosity got the better of him.
Marcas walked in and his eyes darted to the figure in front of him. His eyes traced over the girl who was wrapped up in a blanket but she was still very beautiful. Marcas hesitantly stepped in more and stood almost as if he was requesting permission to come in further.
"Hello there beautiful."

Ambrosette was simply staring at the fire as the flames licked the wood, the crackling and pops set her at ease. She hadn’t been thinking about anything, just totally zoned out on the fire and it helped her. She had a content smile on her face as she cocked her head to the side. There really wasn’t anything to think about. Everything had bored her lately. Chasing after men was hard and something she wasn’t used to.
Ambrosette nearly jumped out of her skin as a voice filled the room. She hadn’t heard anybody walk in. How was that possible? Her heart jumped into her throat before she took a few deep breaths and turned to look at the boy who had intruded. He wasn’t exactly a boy. He was actually quite cute, despite something being a little off about him. She couldn’t quite place it and shrugged. Ambrosette placed a light smirk on her face ad put a hand over her heart. “Be still my heart.” She muttered jokingly as she looked away from her interruption. “And why are you here? Wait, on second thought, who the hell are you?”

Marcas stopped and watched her for a few moments, his eyes travelling to the fire briefly. This place was very relaxing. It was quiet here. Different from the rest of the school there was no doubt this place housed many secrets. Marcas heard her completely and what she said didn't make much sense but he continued to listen and he stepped more into the room, gaining confidence.
"I'm Marcas Knight....I don't actually know why I'm here....It just kinda appeared.."
Marcas did not cover up the fact that he was checking her out as much as we possible at the moment. His eyes examined her face and the shape she made under the blanket. He couldn't help it, it was just something he did. Marcas finally gave up on trying to be cautious and he walked into the room more fully and walked over standing slightly to the left and in front of Ambrosette.

Ambrosette tilted her head back again, not liking the sudden height difference. It made her feel small, like a child again. And Ambrosette automatically transferred being small to being weak. Ambrosette had never liked feeling like she was weak. She hated it enough that she was willing to disturbed her perfect cocoon of warmth and stand up, looking at him. There was still something very off about him but she couldn’t place it. It was driving her crazy.
She moved back and sat on the arm of the couch, bracing her hands on it. She stretched her legs out and crossed them at the ankle, looking him over with curiosity. Maybe if she studied him enough she’d be able to place what was weird.. inhuman about him. Finally his words sank in and she resisted the urge to back away even more.
“Marcas Knight, as in the Veela Marcas Knight?” She questioned, thinly veiling the disgust she held for Veelas. They always thought they were so charming and everything. Ambrosette had had her fair share of run-ins with Veelas. One of them had been the worst break up of her life. She rose an eyebrow, chewing her bottom lip.

Marcus' eyes moved from her face to her legs, they travelled along her legs to her ankles and back up. He couldn't help but check her out and he wasn't hiding it at all. He was pretty confident she would notice but he didn't care. His eyes snapped back to hers when she spoke. He thought everyone knew he was Part-Veela but apparently not.
"Yes I am. I'm Part-Veela actually."
Marcas said it proudly, he was happy for people to know he was Part-Veela. He was proud of his heritage but he couldn't help it either. He didn't know what it was like to actually talk to a girl without his Veela traits trying to swing it so he can get laid. Marcas looked at Ambrosette with a smile, he was blissfully unaware of her disgust towards Veelas.

Ambrosette let out a small sound as he looked her over. Exactly how it always started. Seeing if you’d be well enough in bed. Attractive enough for him to get it up. Man, did she hate Veelas. Ambrosette pushed herself up and walked around the couch, conveniently putting it between them. She made it seem fairly natural. As if she always did it. Trailing a hand lightly along the back of it, feeling the fibers shift against her hand and she came to a stop, leaning against with a reserved smile.
“Right, part-veela doesn’t make you any better than the full-blooded ones, now does it?” She questioned calmly, aware of how rude it sounded. She held nothing against the younger boy, which she now had remembered was in fifth year, but the fact he was a Veela in any way or sort. She knew nothing of him besides his heritage and yet she was willing to judge and punish him for the actions of another Veela that had wronged her. Unfortunately, Ambrosette didn’t see it that way. “What do you want then, Veela?”

Marcas watched her as she put the sofa between them. He leaned in on the sofa to look at her. He realised she really didn't like him but he had no reason why but when she spoke it all dawned on him. She didn't like Veelas, he knew he'd get this from somewhere and he has had it before but it always felt bad when someone judge him just because of his bloodline.
"Well Ambrosette...I don't actually know what you're getting at there. I have Veela family as you know and I can say that they're good people!"
Marcas reigned his little spout of anger in and he took in a deep breath. He really didn't want to get too angry otherwise...Well he knew what'd happen and it wouldn't be pleasant. Marcas leaned on the sofa a little harder, there was no way he was going to be a push over but there was no way he'd get angry enough to transform.

Ambrosette backed away from the couch, sticking her tongue in her cheek. She looked away from him, uncertain of exactly how Veela charms worked. She would not fall victim to them again. She knew better than that. She cleared her throat as she looked at him again, not quite looking at him but rather through him. Looking at the fire he was now blocking from view. It was like a fire inside of him.
“I’m sure they are… around you. But I’ve met a few unfavorable ones. I’d just rather not get caught up with the likes of you.” Ambrosette had always struggled to not let the past affect her decisions, after all, Marcas was kind of cute, but there are always certain things that can surface before and muddle up your future. Ambrosette’s eyes snapped back to actually look at Maracas eyes and she couldn’t help but notice the temper simmering just below his skin. He sort of reminded her of herself. He wasn’t going to explode. For whose sake? She wasn’t sure.

Marcas pushed away from the sofa. She really hated Veelas. Marcas might just have to giver her a lesson on Veela charms. Marcas' anger level stayed the same as he began to slowly walk around the sofa towards Ambrosette. He moved in close to her, he wanted her to feel his words.
"You don't want anything to do with the likes of me?"
Marcas leaned into her, concentrating his Veela traits. He'd never actually tried to concentrate on using them before but if there was a time it was now. She was so....defiant. It was a good feeling. The chase. That was something Marcas loved, chasing the girl around a bit trying to charm them and it was even better when they 'hated' you. He looked her deep in the eyes, he saw...He saw a spark, a fire inside her. She was a passionate person he could tell just from her eyes.

Ambrosette simply stared, linking her hands together and resisting the urge to feel all over him. She drew back a step before some thin rope caused her to take a few steps forward, bringing them closer together despite the war that was raging inside Ambrosette’s head. She knew that this was wrong, so wrong, but Marcas seemed to have let the flood-gate up on his veela powers. Although part of her wanted to be annoyed at him she found it impossible with the predicament she had gotten herself into.
“I once owned Antarctica and can tame seals!” She blurted out before she put a hand over her mouth, her eyes popping wide. She knew exactly what had come over her. He was manipulating her emotions, making her look like a fool and leaving her at his mercy. This is why she hated Veelas! Because they… they… Ambrosette couldn’t remember for the life of her why she hated Veelas at the moment. Not in such close proximity of one with his powers getting out of hand.
Ambrosette fell back a few steps, trying to escape it but knowing it was no use. Only at times could her head clear and let her think clearly. “How could you? Stop.” Like right now. Right now she struggled to stay angry but she knew she’d only be consumed once again. Resisting was almost futile.

A smile appeared on Marcas' face when she blurted out the complete lie. He'd been told by his mother that his powers could make people tell him lies and very amusing false facts but he always thought it was because his powers weren't developed aswell as a full Veelas was that no-one had done it to him now he knee it was because he hadn't concentrated on them before.
When she pleaded for him to stop his smile disappeared and he tried to calm down his powers but he wasn't sure if he could. Had he just cleared a blockage in his powers? Would it be like this every time he spoke to a girl? Marcas wasn't sure but all he knew was he wasn't calming down any time soon. He looked into her eyes, she was having moments of clarity and then she'd be taken back into his hold.

Ambrosette tried to keep her head but it wasn't working at all. She rocked back on her heels before she took a step towards Marcas, trailing one of her fingers down his arm. She smiled and used her other hand to twirl her hair. Ambrosette bit her lip, staring at Marcas as if he was the only man in the world.
"I created the world in seven days." She murmured dreamily as she leaned against Marcas, her head tilted against his chest like she was drunk And in a sense she was. It was like a something was drugging her senses and she couldn't control her body. Being around a Veela with his powers not controlled made you feel so heavy and tired. Made her want to collapse against him and sleep in a way.
"And I can ride dragons." Ambrosette knew that something was wrong, so very wrong. She shouldn't be saying this type of thing but she couldn't help it. It was like a compulsion.

Marcas held her tightly. She was heavy but not in a weight sense, it felt like he was trying to carry an unconscious person but in a sense he kinda was. She wasn't exactly in control at the moment but if he just left her there then he didn't know what would happen. Marcas moved over to the sofa with holding Ambrosette. He brought her down to sit on the sofa next to him. "Ambrosette? I think you might need some rest without me with you." Marcas knew it wasn't going to be as easy as that but it was worth a try. Marcas didn't dare stand up, even though Ambrosette was putty in his hands and he wouldn't mind being able to be with a seventh year this would just be wrong. Marcas wouldn't want that, as well as the horrible repercussions it would have on his reputation.

Ambrosette felt a tug, a small pang of sadness run through her body as he subconscious realized she was being rejected. Ambrosette, messed or not, never got rejected. By a fifth year? Disturbing. It was supposed to be the other way around. He was supposed to be putty in her hands. Round around her little finger. Begging. It infuriated Ambrosette enough that she momentarily broke out of his spell and pulled her hand up, ready to slap him. That utterly failed as she met his eyes and her hand slowed to trace his face, a dreamy smile overcoming her features as she felt lethargic all over again.
"Don't leave me, Marcas, don't ever leave me. Am I not good enough for you, Darling? Because I can be whatever you want." She muttered as she reached up and locked her arms around his neck, drawing her fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck. "Anything. You. Want." Ambrosette all but purred as she pulled her face towards him, kissing his nose and then his cheek. She hovered there for a moment, letting her breath ghost over his cheek before she moved to his ear.
"We could be so good together, Marcas." Ambrosette said as she lowered her head to his shoulder, closing her eyes and cuddling into his neck she feathered light kisses on his neck.
