Fae was amazed at how silent the bike became once they were steady in the air. She had never thought to use magic in such a way. It definitely challenged her ‘Motorcycles are the brooms of muggles’ theory. She smiled at Sirius as he turned around. “I’d say,” she replied, hitting him playfully on the arm as she loosened her grip on him.
She looked down at the world below enjoying the view. She was startled when Sirius quickly turned to the left and a scream escaped her lips as she took in the flock of birds coming at them. She instantly grabbed onto Sirius’ jacket as she lost her balance on the bike in her freak out.

Siurus' hands tensed on the handlebars of the bike as he tried to steady the two of them. He knew if he couldn't get it under control then the two of them were going to go down and become splatters on the ground, "Fae...hey...would you mind not rocking the bike?" He called back to her, trying to remain calm. She stopped freaking out and the bike stopped wiggling and he let out a sigh of relief. Thank god.
"You know, you punch pretty hard...for a girl." He said and rubbed his arm playfully.

Fae stuck her tongue out at the back of his head childishly.
"If you can't avoid any more birds, I will will punch you off the bike if you would like," She gave a sarcastic smile. She let go of his jacket, hoping her fists hadn't wrinkled it. She hated birds and she probably wouldn't live to see the end of the night if they ran into another flock of them.
She worked on relaxing, so she could return to enjoying the ride and stop being hostile. She was hardly ever sarcastic.

"Fae Roux, I didn't take you to be such an adventurer!" Sirius said and cracked his neck. He realized that they had gotten pretty far out and were almost at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. He knew that he should turn around before they reached the protective spells that surrounded the castle. He turned the handlebars so that they were going slightly to the right instead of straight on. He might as well make the maiden voyage last as long as he could. He didnt know when he would have time to take her out again. He smiled to himself as he looked down at the Forbidden Forest.
"If you punch me off my bike, we'll both be up a shite creek, Roux." He laughed and shook his head, attention returning to the sky above them.

"Who could live without adventure?" She mused. She was really enjoying herself. She watched as the clouds slowly began to change color.
"And I think you would be the only one up a creek and without a paddle; I can handle a bike, thank you. I would be sure to return her safe and sound of course." She leaned back a little, holding on tightly to the back of the seat as she let the wind caress her face.
"I am very glad we met today," She said absently. She hadn't realized how much she missed her father until she saw the bike. She never would have dreamed that she would be able to ride it in the clouds. A smile played on her lips as she thought about her own motorcycle back home. Maybe she could talk her dad into letting her bewitch it. She would have to be careful of course...

"The world runs on adventure, my dear Fae." Sirius said with a hearty laugh. He had always been a ladies man and he knew that the motorcycle would bring in the ladies...so far that theory had proven itself to be completely and utterly correct. Fae Roux was quite the catch and he was happy that she had stumbled across his bike. Very happy, "I'm glad I met you too, Fae. Although, I have to say, I've noticed you before. You're not exactly a face that blends into the rest of the Gryffindor Girls." It was all true, what he said. He had noticed Fae many a times, but he had always been too busy with the smarms of women around him to say anything.
"You'll have to show me your skills when we're back on the ground," He said, referring to her ability to handle the bike, "I mean...I would say, let's switch now, but that seems...-" His eyes glazed over in excitement, "Dangerous. Let's do it. We're switching spots. You're going to drive my baby, Fae." He said with a wink and he turned around, "How do you want to go about doing this then?" He asked, a small smirk playing on his lips.

Fae blushed at his comment. She hardly thought she stood out, especially compared to the girls in her house…
“We are what?” She gasped as his words sunk in. Changing places, on a bike in mid-air? “You’re a lunatic!” She laughed. But she couldn’t help it, “Let’s do it!” She refused to give up a challenge. She hesitated for a moment while scenarios played through her head. There would be no way to pull it off without being dangerously intimate.
“I guess I’ll have to move. I’ll have to slide around you so I’m on your lap, then you should be able to take the back seat.”
She took a deep breath and looked around them. The light was fading but she didn’t see any birds nearby so she slowly pulled her left leg to her chest and turned her body to the right so both legs were dangling from the side. Fae then wrapped her left arm around the front of Sirius’ torso, grabbing the seat on the other side of his left leg.
“Excuse me, hope you don’t mind,” She said as she lifted herself up, her right leg on the exhaust as she swung her left leg over the gas tank. She was now completely on Sirius’ lap as she put her hands on the handlebars.

Sirius smiled brightly as she finally ended up on his lap. To be completely honest, he hadn't been paying attention to anything other than her arse the entire time that she was trying to get situated. Call him a pig, but he couldn't help it. He put his hands around her waist and smiled, "I would ask if this is my cue to move, but I actually don't think that I can." He winked and then blushed when he realized that she couldnt see him. He moved his hand away from her waist and gripped the handlebars so that they both had something steady to hold on to.
"And just so you know. It's my wand in my pocket-" Sirius said and laughed loudly, "Kidding of course." He realized that came out wrong, "Erm..." He shook his head, unsure of what he should say to right the situation.

Fae could only laugh. She could feel his awkwardness as he shifted behind her and held onto the handle bars. His statement didn't come out as he had intended, obviously.
"What's the matter Black, cat got your tongue?" She gave him a coy smile over her shoulder. "I thought you were interested in seeing my skills, I can hardly show off with you trying to control the whole bike..." She gave him another smile.

Sirius coughed loudly and it turned into a laugh. Cat got his tongue? Funny. More like...Giant unregistered black animagus dog got his tongue, "Of course...why don't you show me your skills Fae." He said with another wink. Curses. She couldn't see him, still. He would have to wait until they had touched back down to charm her. Until then, he would have to turn over the bike to her. He felt himself getting a little nervous as he let go of the handlebars and slid backwards, letting her fall off of his lap and into the seat of the bike.
"I swear to god, Roux. In all seriousness, I will kill you if you break my baby." He said, sliding his hands onto her waist and holding her firmly.

"Lighten up Black. I swear I will bring no harm to your bike. You may want to hold on tight though," She smiled as she waited for his grip to tighten before bringing the bike through a whole upside-down loop. She gave a cheer at the perfect completion. She had wanted to try that the moment she realized a bike could fly. From then on she decided to behave herself, not wanting to give Sirius a heart attack.
She gently steered the bike back to the clearing she had found it in and easily brought it to the ground, where she went in a circle to slow down before coming to a complete stop.
"See? No harm done," She smiled as she took off her helmet and shook out her hair.

"Oh. Merlin's beard! No harm done?!" Sirius bounded off of the bike and was immediately inspecting it like it was the most important thing in the world, "Loop? Who said you could do a loop, hmmm? I didnt even do a loop!" He couldn't keep the grin off of his face though. She had definitely shown him that she could handle the bike. Perhaps even better than he could. He hadn't exactly grown up around the motorcycles like she had, he just knew that he really liked the muggle contraptions, "You're lucky it's not damaged, you know that?" He said and flashed her one of his signature grins.
He grabbed the helmet out of her hands, winked, and threw it on top of the bike. Then he wheeled it back over to where he had been working on it. He hit the kickstand and leaned the bike up carefully, making sure not to scratch any of it. He wiped a bit of the white paint and then turned around, "So I trust you're impressed?"

Fae smiled and rolled her eyes as Sirius inspected his baby. He really had nothing to worry about. Of course, his grin didn’t help matters. “I’m lucky?” she laughed. “I know there is no damage. I know how important a man’s motorcycle is.”
Fae waited patiently while Sirius put the bike back into its place. She couldn’t help the grin that came as he wiped the bike down. “I guess you could say impressed. Honestly, I’m a sucker for motorcycles… I never thought about making one fly though. I’m going to have to ask my father about that,” She smiled.
“Will you forgive me for giving you a heart attack?”

Sirius thought about it for a moment and then tapped his finger to his lip, "I'll tell you what, Miss Roux. I'll forgive you for the loop de loop and the extreme emotional trauma that I've suffered at your hand if you say you'll have dinner with me." He grinned again, gave her an over-dramatized wink and drew closer to her, turning on the charm. If she was a sucker for motorcycles then she was most likely a sucker for men who drove motorcycles as well. Plus, he had always been a bit of a charmer, that much was certain.
"What do you say, Fae? Dinner. Then everything is forgiven."

Fae bit her lip as Black waited for her answer. She was supposed to meet the centaurs soon... but how could she refuse him dinner after 'traumatizing' him? she mused. She put a finger to her chin, pretending to think hard about his offer.
"Just what do you have in mind monsieur Black? And when would this dinner take place?"
She couldn't help but hope that he hadn't been thinking tonight. She would have to turn him down, and in doing so would have to reveal her involvement with the centaurs. That would be a tricky slope, considering the centaurs and wizarding world were at odd ends...
