[Quinn Gayle Emory] The Name GameNickname(s): Quinny, Queen, Queenie, Q Title(s): Dark Lady, The Woman Scorned Name Meaning(s): Quinn-Of Irish and Gaelic origin, meaning “Counsel” Gayle-Of English origin, meaning “Festive Party” Emory-Of Germanic origin, meaning “Ruler” Play-By: Megan Fox
General InformationGender: Female Age: 17 Age Appearance: 25 Species: Vampire
And you were born...?Place of Birth: London, England Date of Birth: May 2 Zodiac Sign: Taurus Birth Stone: Emerald Birth Flower: Lily Mother: Gayle Emory (deceased) Father: Carl Emory (deceased) Siblings: Alma Emory
Currently...Nationality: English Occupation: Student Orientation: Heterosexual Martial Status: Married to Tom Riddle Social Status: Well-Off What House? Why? Gryffindor. Quinn has off weeks where she closes up and becomes more cold and aloof then most, but overall, Quinn is brave, smart, and kind and the complete embodiment of a Gryffindor when she’s having a good day... Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Quinn has been going through a couple of changes as of late, in light of the...situations that she has been put in. She stands tall, wanting to be the center of attention. She is not afraid to stand out from the crowd lately, considering the given circumstances, hence the dying of her hair to a darker, richer black color. Her eyes are a piercing blue color and they tend to cloud over when she’s thinking too hard about something. Her eyes are always flitting from one thing to another as she Height: 5' 9" Clothing: Quinn used to be all about comfort. Cotton was what she was most likely to be found in. Now, however, after her daughter’s death, she has taken on a more...dangerous style. Everything she wears is black, backless, and low cut, showing her body off. She threw away all of her pairs of gym shoes and has now been left with only wedges and pumps. She refuses to wear t-shirts and jeans in this new, heightened state. It is important for her to be a dangerous lure. Almost like a siren in mourning seeking the destruction of those who have wronged her.
Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: Brave: Quinn is brave, if nothing else. She’s not afraid to put herself out there for people to look at and she’s not afraid to speak her mind. Nowadays her bravery has turned into something resembling recklessness. She’s constantly putting herself in dangerous situations in order to gain some sort of power.
Trusting: Quinn’s other good quality is her trusting nature, she has grown to trust everyone despite the situation. This could be why she ended up married to the Dark Lord, although she knew that he wasn’t a good person, she trusted that he loved her. A fatal flaw, seeing as she tends to trust those who hurt her the most.
Jealous: Quinn isn’t good about playing all fair and nice. She hates sharing with others, which is why it is so hard for her to share Tom with Charity. She tends to last out when she feels like no one is paying attention to her. She also will close up if she becomes too jealous. Then she will not speak to anyone for days.
Headstrong: Not necessarily a personality weakness, but Quinn is incredibly headstrong. She follows her gut, no matter the consequences. This has been shown by her want to avenge her daughter’s death at whatever cost necessary. Grew Up: Quinn grew up with her Pure Blood family where Quidditch was the sport of choice. Her parents had a lavish home in London and also in the South of France. She grew up somewhat spoiled with everything that she could have wanted. Her first year at Hogwarts, she met Charles Garet and since then they have been the best of friends.
Last year, Quinn attended Hogwarts last year and had a very eventful year. She lost her best friend, Charity Anderson. Fell in love with Jason King and ultimately got married. She also had a baby named Charity, but she had to give her up. Quinn disappeared halfway into the school year, cutting ties with all of her friends and family and falling off the face of the earth. She has been trying to find her way back to Hogwarts and her life ever since.
This year, Quinn got mixed up in a lavish plot to get her daughter back, landing her a marriage to none other than the Dark Lord himself and divorcing her husband Jason King in the blink of an eye. She has been the target of many assassination attempts, the product of one of them being the bloody murder of Baby Charity and her unborn child ripped from her womb. Since then she has carried a vengeance just below her skin...dangerous and waiting to explode like a loose cannon. She is The Woman Scorned.
Likes: Classical Music: Quinn hates all music except for classical, sometimes it helps her focus on the task at hand. Although it’s not very wizardy, she keeps an iPod in her dorm room, full of classical. She has also been known to play the piano as of late and has picked up a few pieces that sound beautiful.
Freedom: Although she’s afraid of being alone, Quinn adores her freedom and free time. She likes to spend it reading out in the courtyards or watching the birds fly. It’s calming to her to be alone and free, however, when she doesn’t get enough time to herself, she becomes agitated and anxious and hard to be around. Dislikes: Shoes: Restricting little buggers. Quinn hates wearing shoes, but she does so just to adhere to social norms. When she’s angry she abandons this notion and usually takes them off and throws them.
Blood: Quinn is extremely squeemish when it comes to blood and normally throws up when she sees it, that’s why she’s glad that most of the killing that takes place in Hogwarts is done with magic. She, however, pretends that it doesn’t bother her because she doesn’t want to appear weak. Strengths: Defense Against the Dark Arts: This used to be Quinn's favorite class while she attended Hogwarts. She probably studied too hard for it. Although, she doesn't use it much now (She's married into the Dark Lord's family tree), she still had an incredible knack for it.
Smooth-Talker: Quinn has become someone that can convince other people to do her bidding. It's a skill that she's recently acquired. Because with great power, comes a great deal of power over other people. Weakness: Potions: Quinn never could quite manage to figure out potions. Something about it always eluded her...And she was too terrified of Snape to even think about going to his office for help...thus...she continued to fail the class.
Revenge: Quinn has developed a weak spot in her life for revenge and taking revenge on those who have wronged her. Ever since Hecate killed her daughter, she's been unable to control her urges to attack everyone who has ever hurt her. Phobias: Anuptaphobia: Quinn is terrified of being alone....or of ending up with the wrong person in life. That’s why she’s constantly forcing herself in and out of one failed relationship after another. After losing her entire family, she barely has anyone left and is terrified of losing them all. However, she is guarded about who she spends her time with because she has become a little suspicious of everyone. Turn On's: Quinn resents this question, but she will answer anyway. Quinn is turned on by power. She loves people who can hold their own against everyone else. It's always been her goal to become one of those people. She's also turned on by dangerous situations. Even though she used to be the most cowardly of lionesses, she's now extremely attracted to danger and all the possibilities that it brings. Turn Off's: Quinn is turned off by men who think too much about the future. She'd rather just live in the moment and take things as them come. She is also turned off by rose petals. Chalk it up to a bad first experience, but if there are rose petals? Then she's out.
We're All A Little WeirdPersonal Effects Ever since her mother and father were murdered by the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort, she has kept her mother’s set of fine pearls. She also has, hidden somewhere unbeknownst to most, the cannon that her father used to keep in the attic of her house. In light of her daughter’s recent death, she wears a bracelet inscribed with Charity in remembrance. Quirks or Habits Quinn takes off her shoes when she’s upset. She’s done it since she was a little child. She finds that shoes are often too restricting and they inhibit her anger. She also tends to throw them at the object of her anger, ie...anyone who is upsetting her. In this respect, she is like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Extras Quinny’s become quite the bi.tch as of late... Power Range: Quinn has grown stronger over the past couple of months, due to the fact that she has been studying and observing the Death Eaters that constantly surround her. She also has been...blessed with a new vengeance and hatred against the world. Although it doesn’t necessarily fuel her, it certainly sparks something within her, causing her to be even more dangerous than she was before. Sample PostQuinn was sitting at her desk, intently focused on a book that she was reading. She heard a loud knock on the door and smiled. Tom must be home early, he was the only one who ever came to her room. She quickly stood up, flattened her dress and opened the door, "Tom-" She was staring at a death eater and not her husband. Her smile fell as she looked at him, "Barron, what is it?" She asked.
"You have a visitor: Says he's a friend from Hogwarts." Barron said with a slight bow. They had all been instructed to never bother Quinn in her study and not to look her in the eyes, so he stated slightly past her shoulder, "He wants to see you. Out in the courtyard."
Quinn's nose wrinkled. Not many people knew that she could be found here, and she didn't have that many close friends left, so she wondered who it could be. She picked up her book from her desk and headed off toward the courtyard to meet her mysterious guest. She felt the eyes of the Death Eaters all around her as she walked. She finally found her guest in the courtyard.
A giant smile sprung onto her face as she saw him, "Xavier!" She said and closed the gap between them, hugging him tightly, "Oh it's been a long time." She said against his shoulder, "I'm so happy to see you! Why...why are you here?"

[Grayson Owen Galloway] The Name GameNickname(s): Gray Title(s): Hectatian Brother Name Meaning(s): Grayson-Old English origin, “Son of the Gray-Haired Man” Owen-Scottish origin, “Youth” Galloway-Gaelic origin, “Foreign Gael” Play-By: Ian Somerhalder
General InformationGender: Male Age: 17 Age Appearance: 21 Species: Human Bloodline: Muggle Born
And you were born...?Place of Birth: Lexington, South Carolina Date of Birth: August 12 Zodiac Sign: Leo Birth Stone: Peridot Birth Flower: Poppy Mother: Denise Galloway Father: Owen Galloway Siblings: None
Currently...Nationality: American Occupation: Student Orientation: Heterosexual Martial Status: Single...? Social Status: Middle-Class What House? Why? Gryffindor. He’s a work in progress, but none of the other houses fit him as well as Gryffindor. He’s not afraid to make a fool of himself...and that’s some sort of bravery......right?
Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Grayson is a little rustic in his look. He loves to go unshaven, with his shaggy brown/black hair hanging in his face. He tends to hide his striking blue-green eyes because he doesn’t want people to really notice him. He has a muscular body and a strong build. He tries to lie low, though, and hates being the center of attention. He carries himself with good posture, but he hangs out near the back of the room, avoiding eye-contact with everyone. Height: 6’ 3” Clothing: Grayson can mostly be found in what’s comfortable for him: White or black v-neck t-shirts, jeans, combat boots, and leather jackets. He hates his Hogwarts uniform, and even though it normally lands him in detention, he tends not to wear it to classes. Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: Grayson (Gray) comes off as a little rough around the edges...as he wasn’t brought up in a very nice part of the South, but once you get to know him, he can be an absolute sweetheart. He’s not afraid to make a fool of himself around everyone, but he is a little intimidated about going to an all British school. He’s a real Southern Gentleman; always holding doors for women, using ma’am and sir, and holds the idea of chivalry very near and dear to his heart. But Grayson also has an awful temper. He’s easily angered, especially when it comes to others threatening his love life or family. He can also be pretty self centered when it comes to his personality. He doesn’t necessarily consider the way that other people are feeling; he wants to make sure that he’s set in his situation before he worries about others. Grew Up: Gray was born in the good old American South to a normal American family. He grew up loving guns, apple pie, baseball, and pickup trucks. However, none of these traits stopped him from becoming a Southern Gentleman. He grew up not knowing why all these weird things happened to him until one day he got a letter from the Salem Institute in Massachusetts. Unfortunately for him, his sixth year, he got kicked out and his parents somehow talked the Salem Headmaster into letting him transfer to Hogwarts for his final year of schooling. He got involved with Hecate and the Hectatian Brotherhood when he was 15 years old. He worked his way up in ranks until he finally made it to Hecate’s right hand man. He takes his job very seriously, but he’s not afraid to stand up to Hecate when he needs to. Sometimes he thinks that she’s not quite...all there. He think’s it’s because she made a deal with the demons. Grayson was supposed to have killed Charity Anderson to take out a threat, but instead, he fell in love with her and has been fighting to protect her ever since that moment. Likes: 1. Motorcycles: Grayson has always had a knack for building and restoring motorcycles. His dad used to have an old body shop where Grayson could work to his heart’s content, but ever since he had to leave Salem, he’s had to give up the motorcycling. He doesn’t want everyone to know, but he’s rebuilding one in a garage in Hogsmeade.
2. Danger: Grayson, although he might appear as a simple souther gentleman on the outside, has always been drawn to danger. He wants to be in the middle of it, risking his life for something that he really believes in. This is the main reason that he joined Hecate in her quest for power. Dislikes: 1. Books: Grayson has never been a big reader. He doesn’t see the point of them. Why read about it when you can be out there doing it for yourself?
2. Small Animals: Chalk it up to a bad childhood experience, but Grayson hates all small animals; ferrets, squirrels, chipmunks...He cant stand being around them and normally ends up finding somewhere else to go if they’re involved. Strengths: 1. Transfiguration: Transfiguration is all about the physical manifestation of magic...he’s able to actually practice on something and see the results, which makes him happy. There’s also not a lot of reading assigned in this class, which makes him like it even better.
2. Sweet-Talkin’: A spoon-full of his Southern charm is all that Grayson needs to convince people to do what he wants. Normally that’s the reason that he can get what he wants. It’s also the reasons that he moved so quickly up the ranks of Hecate’s brotherhood. Weakness: 1. History of Magic: Books. That’s mostly the curriculum of History of Magic. He hates reading and refuses to do it, which explains his poor marks in this class. There’s no way for him to experience the History...therefore he hates it.
2. Feelings: Grayson has never been good about showing his feelings. He tries to keep them hidden--not very well--from everyone else so that he won’t be judged. He’s also afraid to let others know that he likes them if they haven’t explicitly reciprocated those feelings. Phobias: Microzoophobia: Fear of small animals. He got bit by a squirrel when it was 10. Since then, he hasn’t been able to look those nasty buggers in the eye. Turn On's: Powerful women are always a turn on for Gray. They take what they want and they’re not afraid to speak up, however, if they speak up too much, Grayson begins to get annoyed. It’s definitely a fine line for him between sexy and annoying. Leather is also a huge turn on for Gray...hence the leather jacket ;] Turn Off's: Annoying girls. Grayson hates women who talk too much about their lives, especially in the bedroom. He has been known to immediately force them to leave if this is the case.
We're All A Little WeirdPersonal Effects Grayson can always be found wearing, or carrying around, his leather jacket. He loves that jacket, and loves the worn feeling of the leather. He would be devastated without it. Quirks or Habits Grayson gets extra...Southern when he’s frustrated or extremely emotional. His accent gets a lot thicker and he becomes a lot more animated. Extras No ma’am! Power Range: Grayson is pretty powerful, but not so much in terms of magic. It’s his southern charm that usually gets him what he wants. He’s a smooth talker and he can normally talk himself into or out of any situation that he wants. That’s how he’s gained so much ground in Hecate’s Brotherhood. Sample PostGrayson remembered his conversation with Hecate about the Hectilains. They were dangerous beings. Hecate informed him that he was never to go into contact with one or he would most likely be killed. Grayson absentmindedly ran his hand over the Hectian Wheel on his chest. Hecate was the only one who offered him any protection. He would have to tell her that the Hectilians were in town. He realize that he had zoned out and then stared back at Charity. He backed up a couple of feet so he could lean on the opposite wall, arms folded across his chest.
Grayson shook his head, "Met a couple of 'em outside a little while ago with Quinn. They don't like Quinn." He said, nodding toward the door to the outdoors area. He turned back to her, "Ivy...Kronis...Leon....Lexis." He recited their names carefully, he had taken time to make sure that he had observed each one carefully, "What have you gotten yourself mixed up in, Miss. Anderson?" He asked and ran his hand through his hair.
[Charles Matthew Garet] The Name GameNickname(s): Charlie Title(s): None Name Meaning(s): Charles-German origins, “Free Man” Matthew-Hebrew origins, “Gift of God” Garet-"One Who is Mighty with a Spear" Play-By: Alex Pettyfer
General InformationGender: Male Age: 17 Age Appearance: 21 Species: Human Bloodline: Muggle-Born
And you were born...?Place of Birth: Liverpool, England Date of Birth: July 12 Zodiac Sign: Cancer Birth Stone: Ruby Birth Flower: Larkspur Mother: Amanda Garet Father: John Garet (deceased) Siblings: Aspen Garet
Currently...Nationality: English, Polish Occupation: Student Orientation: Heterosexual, Metrosexual...? Martial Status: Single Social Status: Lower-Class What House? Why? Hufflepuff; Charles is a little out there and doesn't really fit with any of the other houses, however, his loyalty throws him into Hufflepuff
Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Charles is a tall, shaggy haired blonde with brown eyes. Most would say that he’s attractive, but when he looks in the mirror, he doesn’t really see it. He sees himself as more of a five year old who grew up too fast, that same childish twinkle has always been in his eyes. He holds his appearance pretty near and dear to him and that is why he takes so much pride in what he’s wearing. Sometimes, he goes a little over the top and when he looks in the mirror he’s surprised to see how crazy he looks. He’s not afraid to be himself and that comes off in the way that he carries himself. He has a little bit of a hop in his step and his posture is pretty much always erect. Height: 6’ 1.5” Clothing: Charles can most likely be found wearing whatever is in his closet...But it always has to match. He’s a stickler for things that match. He would never wear a black belt with brown shoes...he knows too well that it’s a social faux-pas. That’s why some consider him to be on the metrosexual side of life. Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: Outgoing: Charles will talk to just about anyone that he crosses paths with. That’s the beauty of his personality. He’s not afraid to go out there and meet people even if they might reject him. He’s very confident with the person that he is and he believes that people will either take him as he is or...leave him alone. In fact, he banks on it.
Hopeless-Romantic: Charles tends to hide this from other people, but in reality, all he really wants is to find a nice girl and settle down. He’s always wanted that. He’s extremely sweet when it comes to this aspect of his personality, but unfortunately, being such a romantic sets him up to get hurt a lot.
Dorky: Charles is a class one, regular ol’ dork. He’s not afraid to show it either. He would rather be reading a book then off at a rave or party. He knows a lot about the passages and history of Hogwarts. And most importantly, he loves jokes and pranks.
Overly-Talkative: Charles talks. A ton. Especially when he’s nervous...which can be a lot of the time. Quinn, his former best friend, has been quoted saying that Charles’ chatter is like “word vomit” and “he says whatever he wants to say.” Grew Up: Charles grew up in the poor part of Liverpool with his muggle Mother and Father. They took care of him and his little sister Aspen Garet as best they could, but they basically grew up with nothing. Then he got his Hogwarts letter and everything changed for him. He actually felt like he was worth something. And he was beyond excited to be a wizard. His first year at Hogwarts he met Quinn Emory, and since then, they have been almost inseparable and like brother and sister.
Last Year, Charles spent the year dating Hermione Granger on and off until he had to leave about six months ago in order to go care for his father who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. His father recently passed away and that is what ultimately brought him back to Hogwarts.
This year he has been lying low and keeping a lower profile. He’s been attending classes like a good Hufflepuff, trying to salvage his relationship with Hermione Granger, and attempting to get to know other people. He’s cut all ties with Quinn Emory after she betrayed him by marrying the Dark Lord. Now he’s on the market for a new best friend...and possibly a new girlfriend? Likes: 1. Thunderstorms: Charles has always liked the rain and sounds of thunderstorms. The sounds puts him to sleep and even calms him. In the craziness of his life, sometimes a storm is just what he needs. He’s been trying to figure out a powerful enough spell to conjure up his own whenever he needs it.
2. The Black Lake: Charles’ favorite place to be on all of the Hogwarts Grounds. He loves to go to the Black Lake to think or read, whenever he needs alone time. Not many people bother him there and that’s the way that he likes. Dislikes: 1. Confrontation: Charles would rather just let someone or something go if it meant that he had to confront someone. He hates causing conflict between people and the only time he will do it is if it’s something that’s indispensable to him.
2. Being Used: This is the one thing in all the world that will piss Charles Garet off. He hates when other people are manipulative, and will not stand for it. This would make him attack someone...maybe even physically. Strengths: Herbology: Charles is pretty good at all of his classes, but Herbology is where he succeeds the most. He loves plants and classifying plants and learning about the way that plants interact with the Wizarding World. He has a ton of extra Herbology books stored in his room on his chest.
Wizarding Chess: Charles grew up around chess...Muggle chess and always had an affinity for it. Charles sucks at Quidditch, and so this is where he makes up for his poor Wizard sports skills. He has the mind of a chess genius and can often be found practicing Wizards chess in his free time. Weakness: Divination: There has always been something off about divinations for Charles. He never quite understood what people saw when they looked into empty tea cups...He always assumed that they were unhappy that they had drunk all their tea.
Deciphering Accents: Charles has neither the patience nor sheer ability to listen to accents that aren’t English. For some reason, he has an extreme difficulty understanding him, which usually deters him from hanging out with any of the foreign students. Phobias: Charles doesn’t really have an phobias as of right now. The only one that could possibly be present is Sanguivoriphobia, the fear of vampires. But seeing as he has never come across a vampire in his life...this seems a little unnecessary. Turn On's: Charles has the weirdest turn-ons in the entire world. He loves when a girl knows a lot of information...he could sit there and listen to them talk about what they know for hours on end. He is also extremely turned on by a girl who voices her opinion in public and isn’t afraid to be themselves. Charles is pretty vocal about the way that he is and he feels like he needs someone who is just as vocal about their opinion. Turn Off's: Charles is extremely turned off by shy people; if they can’t go out and introduce themselves, he doesn’t think they’re worth meeting. He is also turned off by people who have no consideration for other’s feelings. He hates the kind of people that manipulate and use others and cannot stand to be around them at any point in time.
We're All A Little WeirdPersonal Effects The only thing that Charles keeps on his person at all times is his father’s pocket-watch. He keeps it in his pocket and no one else knows that it’s there. Ever since he lost his father to cancer at the beginning of the year, he’s been having a hard time letting his father’s memory go. Quirks or Habits Charles talks too much when it gets nervous. Not sure if that’s really a habit, but it tends to happen the most when he’s talking to girls. He goes on rambling rampages and it takes him a couple of minutes to fully get himself back to normal. Extras Charles...is a dork. :] Power Range: Charles doesn’t have a particularly large range of power...or rather, he just doesn’t use the range that he does have. He’s moderately good at his school work, but other than that, he doesn’t really like to use his magic to solve any of his problems. Sample PostCharles stared at her in disbelief. She was beyond bubbly, verging slightly on the edge of crazy. Her salute was sweet, sincere, almost as if she didnt realize just how juvenile and naive she was being. But there was something about her that made him feel...better about everything, "I'm a sixth year as well. Hufflepuff as a matter of fact." He smiled and then looked down at her hand that was grasping his.
He coughed for a moment, realizing that he had completely forgotten his manners, "This is Amy." He introduced his date for a moment and then went back to staring at that extremely purple hair, "You're new?" He questioned, still staring into the purple locks, "Or....I mean--" He shook his head, trying to find his words, "I haven't seen you around before."

[Lauren Nicole Bennett] The Name GameNickname(s): Laur, Laurie Title(s): Self Appointed Queen of all things Shakespeare Name Meaning(s): Lauren-English origins, meaning “Flower, something beautiful” Nicole-Greek orgins, meaning “Victory” Bennett-English origins, meaning “Blessed” Play-By: Dianna Agron
General InformationGender: Female Age: 16 Age Appearance: 18 Species: 1/4 Veela, 3/4 Human Bloodline: Half-Blood
And you were born...?Place of Birth: Paris, France...moved to London before she turned 1 Date of Birth: Oct 24 Zodiac Sign: Scorpio Birth Stone: Tourmaline and Opal Birth Flower: Cosmos Mother: Caroline Bennett Father: Russell Bennett Siblings: Sylva and Jackson Bennett
Currently...Nationality: French, English Occupation: Student Orientation: Straight as a die Martial Status: Single Social Status: Middle-Class What House? Why?Gryffindor; Lauren is bold with her silly opinions and not afraid to make a fool of herself whenever possible. This stems from her want to make everyone else laugh.
Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Lauren tries not to get noticed when she walks into a room, but unfortunately for her, that’s not really in the cards for her. The Veela blood in her draws her more attention that she would like. She normally tries to fall back into the crowd by wearing sunglasses around school, but she cant avoid the stares forever. Some people say that she has a devilish look to her, a little dangerous, devious, and sexy, but that’s completely accidental. She would rather spend her time with good friends then being the center of attention for the entire school... Height: 5’ 10” Clothing: Lauren loves bright colors. They’re her favorite thing to wear. She also loves mixing and matching, putting things together that don’t necessarily belong. She is also a huge fan of dresses. Maxi dresses. Short dresses. Dresses that have seen better days. Everything about the way that she puts herself together expresses her theatricality, from her heels with socks, to her giant bows and random accessories. Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: For Lauren, the entire world is a stage and she? Merely a player. She is lively and fun, and enjoys being the center of attention whenever possible, however, she's not afraid of sharing her spotlight. Doing silly things is just part of the job when it comes to making a fool out of herself; she will do anything for a laugh. Generally, Lauren doesn't give the best advice because she dislikes things of theory and future-planning. She lives in the present because it's often the easiest for her. Grew Up: Lauren grew up in a stable home in West London with her Mother, Father, and two younger siblings. She grew up reading as much as she could, but has never been particularly interested in studying. She prefers to read only for pleasure. She grew up always staring out the window to pass the time, dreaming of things that were bigger than herself.
When she turned 10 her mother sent her to spend a week with her Veela Grandmother, Madame Janielle Voiler. Lauren was reluctant at first, she had never met her, and she had read terrifying things about the Veelas. But finally, she agreed to go. She came face to face with her grandmother and had never seen anyone more beautiful. Every movement, even though her grandmother was 87, was graceful and full of poise. She taught her what it meant to be Veela, to use your looks to your advantage and manipulate others. Although Lauren didn’t believe any of this at the time, she began putting more effort into her appearance and eventually blossomed into the beautiful girl that she is today. Likes: Shakespeare: Lauren doesn’t just like Shakespeare....She loves him. She has the utmost respect for the man and considers him to be the greatest play-write that has ever lived. He is her hero and she can always be found with at least two of his plays in her school bag and is constantly bugging everyone to read scenes with her. Macbeth is her favorite of all.
Movies: Lauren has always been fascinated by cinematography. She loves old black and white movies as well as new classics. She keeps a television in her dorm room, unbeknownst to McGonegall, and she can always be found staying up late in order to watch the latest film that she has found. Dislikes: The Ocean: Lauren had a traumatic experience when she was 4 with the ocean. Her aunt was supposed to be watching her, when she stopped paying attention for a while, Lauren ran into the ocean...a little too far. She went under and almost drown. Luckily someone walking by spotted her and got her before it was too late. Since then, she can’t go near the ocean without becoming terrified and clammy.
People who don’t read: There is something dangerous about a person who refuses to read books for fun, according to Lauren, they only see the world from their point of view. She can’t stand people who are ignorant of the world of literature that is all around them... Strengths: Bold: Lauren is incredibly bold when it comes to her every day life. She’s not afraid to go up to someone and outright ask them the most embarrassing question that she can think of. It’s part of who she is, and although it might seem like a burden sometimes, she loves it. It helps her get to know people better and faster.
Spontaneous: Lauren loves being spontaneous and she considers it to be one of her greatest strengths. She’s always on her toes, looking for the next latest and greatest thing to do. She hates planning and lives completely based on spontaneity. Weakness: Lives in Present: Lauren has a hard time focusing on the future or the past because she likes to live only in the present. She thinks that it’s the easiest way to live, but a lot of other people get annoyed with her because she has no idea the consequences of her actions. Nor does she learn from her mistakes.
Overwhelmed: Lauren tends to take everything a little too seriously sometimes and can be easily overwhelmed by everything that is going on around her. Phobias: Acute Atychiphobia: Lauren fears about failure most of all. She grew up in a family enviornment where she was expected to do the best as possible and she carries that with her always. Anything less than perfection is not really acceptable for her. Turn On's: Lauren is turned on by a well-read man. Someone who really knows their stuff. She’s not afraid to admit it either. She also loves a man that can act. And I mean really act. That’s part of the reason that she’s always looking for someone to read with her, so she can see how good their onstage chemistry would be. But also to see how good the offstage chemistry will be...if they ever get that far. Turn Off's: Those who do not read. Honestly? If they haven’t picked up a book, then they should just turn around and walk right out of the door again. She is also turned off by people who think that they are better than everyone else. She doesn’t believe that social standing or blood line should make someone better or worse than anyone else. For Lauren, it’s all about personality.
[/size] [/blockquote] We're All A Little WeirdPersonal Effects Lauren carries her grandmother’s favorite necklace around. Her grandmother passed away a few years ago, but after everything that she taught Lauren, she couldn’t resist keeping the necklace. She always keeps a copy of Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet in her bag at all times. She never knows when she might need it for some reason or another. Quirks or Habits Lauren has a tendancy to over dramatize a lot of everything, it normally ends up with her falling to the floor in a heap when she’s not happy. Extras Nopppe. Power Range: Lauren has never really had a need to explore her power range. She’s lived a relatively stable life...up until she met Marcus.... Sample PostLauren poked her head into the Great Hall and smiled at all the students. Her hands were full of books that she had just picked up from the library and they were starting to get heavy. She walked in and slowly made her way to one of the tables and threw the books down in front of her. She pulled her knees up to her chest as she sat down on the bench and picked up an apple and bit into it.
Her eyes scanned the room, looking for friendly faces, but it seemed as if not everyone was in the Great Hall yet. They were probably all still hungover from the ball. From what she gathered, it had been a crazy night. Full of drama, none the less. She was glad that she had arrived too late to go.
She picked up her copy of Romeo and Juliet and began reading the lines, letting her mind wander for a few moments. In that time, she decided that if she ever made it big as an actor, she would call herself Lori. Or Lorelai. Because either one of those would look so much better up in lights then just....Lauren. She groaned.

[Catherine “Hecate” Herod] The Name GameNickname(s): Hecate, Hec Title(s): Leader of The Hectatian Brotherhood Name Meaning(s): Hecate-Greek origin, meaning “Far off,” Greek Goddess of witchcraft, crossroads, tombs, demons, and the underworld Play-By: Jessica Stroup
General InformationGender: Female Age: 19 Age Appearance: 25 Species: Human...? Bloodline: Pure-Blood
And you were born...?Place of Birth: Border of Canada and US Date of Birth: February 29 Zodiac Sign: Pisces Birth Stone: Amethyst Birth Flower: Primrose Mother: Abigail Herod (deceased) Father: Greg Herod (deceased) Siblings: None
Currently...Nationality: American, Canadian Occupation: Assassin Orientation: Not Important Martial Status: Also, not important. Social Status: Well-Off. Killing people pays.
Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Hecate stands tall in a room, commanding attention with ease and grace. She oozes danger and can often make people around her feel uncomfortable with her piercing gaze and intense formality. However, she is rarely in a room with other people. Most often she’s in the forest with select followers planning her next move. Hecate has piercing green eyes, and people often say that she stares straight into your soul with her unrelenting gaze when you meet her. She cuts her hair too short--leaving her with a choppy and uneven pixie cut--because if she doesn’t, she plays with it, and that makes her feel like a dainty, weak little girl. Height: 5’ 11” Clothing: Hecate always wears black. No matter what the occasion. She’s also always wearing combat boots. She has to be able to move quickly and quietly, so her clothing is lightweight. She also always has a black hood. It’s her trademark. She pulls it up when she no longer wants to speak to someone. Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: Hecate is dangerous. In every manner of the word. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, but more often then not, she’ll use her actions instead of her words. She has wisdom that is beyond her years. She’s a strategic thinker, so every moment, she’s constantly plotting and re-plotting her next move. For Hecate, it’s important to stay one step ahead of everyone else in order to be successful in her line of work. She holds her standards in high regard and expects a lot out of everyone else. She doesn’t take failure or no as an option. Anything that is less than to her standards doesn’t deserve to stay and will be dealt with accordingly. Hecate is not afraid to take chances if she believes that the payouts will be for her benefit.
On the negative side, Hecate can be extremely dictatorial and possessive. She is obsessed with being in control of the situation, and the way that she carries herself suggests that. She doesn’t like to be told no and will fight to regain any power that she has lost in her organization. She is also extremely self-centered and narcissistic. She is always in a situation in order to increase the amount of power that she holds over others and it is her goal in life to be the most powerful witch in the world. Grew Up: Catherine Herod was born near the border of Canada in the United States. Her mother died during childbirth, leaving her alone to grow up with her drunken father. Then only mementos that she has left from her mother were her books on Dark Wizardry. That being said, Hecate spent most of her time looking after herself during her childhood and exploring the path of Dark Magic with the help of her mother’s books. By the time that she was 10 years old, she was using unregulated magic--unbeknownst to her father--and had already managed to learn spells that were meant for grown wizards and witches.
When Catherine turned 11 she ran away from home after one of her father’s drunken rages. She found refuge on the streets of a large city, living life largely homeless. She lived like this for two years until her 13th birthday when she decided that something needed to be done. She ended up at her father’s home late at night and murdered him, stealing everything valuable from the house. Muggle newspapers reported that the culprit was never found.
Using a combination of the Imperius Curse and her wit, Catherine was able to being one of her own alliances: The Hectatian Brotherhood (Akin to Voldemort’s Death Eaters in the UK). She gathered support from rebellious students of the Salem Wizarding Institute as well as rouge witches and wizards who had never quite found their place in the wizarding world. From that day on, she took on the name Hecate and became one of the most powerful Witches of North America. They say that she made deals with the Demons and that explains her quick rise to power, but it has never been confirmed and Hecate refuses to talk about the details of exactly how it happened.
Hecate eventually stumbled across her known associate Charli Kidman during the early years of her Brotherhood’s life. She took her under her wing and Charli has become a pseudo-daughter and best friend to Hecate.
The day that Hecate turned 18, she decided that she would establish her Brotherhood on a more world-wide basis. With little to no warning to her followers, she disappeared, leaving the Brotherhood in America largely under Charli’s control. For a year, she has been traveling and establishing herself world-wide.
Outside of the Wizarding Community of North America, not many had heard of her. But within the circles of North America, she was respected and feared as one of the most dangerous rogue witches to ever be. She was wanted in 17 Wizarding countries around the world, all for murder of some of the greatest leaders of the Wizarding World. Hecate’s an assassin, looking to gain footing in Lord Voldemort's territory. Likes: 1. Power: Hecate is all about power and one-upping her opponents. She has to be, considering she’s one of the worlds greatest assassins. She will sacrifice whatever is necessary if it means that she can advance her standing.
2. Pain: Hecate loves the feeling of pain and seeing others in pain. That’s why the initiation process into the Brotherhood is so painful...It makes her feel strong and it fuels her ambitions. Dislikes: 1. Flowers: Flowers. The bane of Hecate’s existence. If she could eliminate anything in the entire world it would be flowers. They’re so delicate and dainty. Whenever she sees them...she wants to destroy them. Or burn them. The smell is the worst part of all; sometimes it even gets to the point where it nauseates her...
2. Weakness: Hecate hates encountering someone who is weak...She often finds it best to deal with these individuals by torturing them until they wither away into nothingness. She has no patience for those who are not able to hold their own against her. Strengths: 1. Legilimency: She learned it at a very young age and has been honing her skills ever since. Hecate loves looking into other’s thoughts and sifting through what they are thinking, but she tries to save it for times when she is extremely desperate ONLY.
2. Strategic Thinker: Hecate has a way with planning things that can’t compare with anyone else. She is constantly working and reworking plans in her head, trying to find the best, fastest, and most effective plan of action. Weakness: 1. Dictatorial: Hecate loves to be in control and that normally means that she won’t share her power with anyone else. This is especially bad when she disappears for long periods of time...no one else is able to take control of the Brotherhood and it all goes to hell.
2. Narcissistic: Hecate is obsessed with the way that she looks. It’s not vanity. She wants to look the most powerful. That means that she’s constantly cutting her hair and making sure that she looks put together. It’s all about appearances. Phobias: Mild Haphephobia: Hecate hates that someone would attempt to touch her against her will. She initiates contact only when it’s completely and utterly necessary. Turn On's: Seeing as Hecate is almost a purely asexual being, there is not much that turns her on. Mostly just pain. The sound of others in pain makes her...ecstatic. Like she’s floating on a cloud. It’s more of a drug to her than a turn on, but it’s the only thing that comes close for Hecate. Turn Off's: Hecate is turned off by almost everyone around her. Little quirks that irk her. She has no time for others in her life.
We're All A Little WeirdPersonal Effects Hecate’s hood and gloves are very important to her. She hates touching other people, so the gloves come in handy. The hood is her way of hiding from the world and when she wears it, all people can see is the intensity of her gaze. [/size] Quirks or HabitsHecate has voices in her head, which are constantly attacking her mentally. They are a product of the deal that she made with the Demons all those years ago to move to power. She cannot get rid of them no matter how hard she tries and they are constantly tearing her down and making her lust after blood. She kills, most often, to appease them. ExtrasNot at the present time. Power Range: Hecate is a powerful being; she made a deal with the demons, rendering her more powerful then most of her opponents. However, this does make her weaker should she ever have to go up against a demon....[/blockquote] Sample Post"Galloway." She breathed into the air, her words encircling him like they were made of magic themselves. He tried to push himself backwards, but she grabbed his jaw and made him stay facing her, her nails digging into his face.
She was Hecate. Real name: Catherine Herod. Age: 19. Outside of the Wizarding Community of North America, not many had heard of her. But within the circles of North America, she was respected and feared as one of the most dangerous rogue witches to ever be. She was wanted in 17 Wizarding countries around the world, all for murder of some of the greatest leaders.
She was an assassin. And she was looking to gain footing in Lord Voldemort's territory. Hecate wasn't going to stop until she had.
"Hecate." Grayson managed to say, even though she was tightly gripped on his cheeks. She hissed.
"You failed me." She glared into his eyes, her hood falling slightly off of her head, revealing a girl with high cheekbones and a short haircut. She looked dangerous. Strangely beautiful, but dangerous, "You were supposed to kill Charity. Or Xavier. And you've done neither."

[Nora Marie Porter] The Name GameNickname(s): None Title(s): None Name Meaning(s): Nora- “light” Marie- “star of the sea” Porter- “to carry” Play-By: Ashely Greene
General InformationGender: Female Age: 16 Age Appearance: 18 Species: Witch Bloodline: Pureblood
And you were born...?Place of Birth: Paris, France Date of Birth: October 24 Zodiac Sign: Scorpio Birth Stone: Opal Birth Flower: Cosmos Mother: Annette Porter Father: Fredrick Porter Siblings: None
Currently...Nationality: French, British Occupation: Student Orientation: Heterosexual Martial Status: Single Social Status: Middle Class What House? Why? Hufflepuff. Nora is a little out there, but she doesn't really fit into any of the other houses. She is loyal and caring. The only outlier in her Hufflepuff personality is the fact that she is uncommonly suspicious of others.
Boy Are You Funny LookingAppearance: Nora knows how to carry herself. She’s full of self-confidence and isn’t afraid to stand out from a crowd. She keeps her brown hair pulled back most of the time--it has a just rolled out of bed and beachy waves look going on--and her makeup is kept pretty minimalistic. She doesn’t really think about her appearance as being too important, so she rarely looks in the mirror.
Nora is not the typical sixteen year old...She has been cutting her hair for a couple of years now, hence the choppy lairs and uneven bangs. She is a short little firecracker, coming in at just under 5’ 3”, but what she lacks in height, she makes up for in personality. She has soft facial features; a slightly rounded jaw line, lips a little too large for her face, a button nose, and curiously arched eyebrows. Height: 5’ 3” Clothing: Long flowing skirts are Nora’s go to outfit, followed closely behind by shorts and tank tops. She doesn’t care much for getting dressed up, and she only owns one pair of dress robes... Everybody Has Personality FlawsPersonality: Loyal-Nora is uncommonly loyal once she forms bonds with people. She’s not one to take her friendships lightly and often considers people she has just met to be her life-long friends. Her loyalty often verges on obsession, as she cannot seem to break bonds with people, even when they try and get rid of her. In many ways, this allegiance often scares people away because they’re not sure what to do with such a zealous companion around all the time.
Suspicious-Nora barely trusts anyone, even her closest friends sometimes. She can’t go a day without constructing some sort of conspiracy theory in her mind, it’s one of her pitfalls. Everyone poses a threat to those who she cares about and she’s constantly on high alert when it comes to meeting new people. This is why she tries to spend as much time as she can alone, so that she’s not constantly focused on what everyone might be up to.
Caring-Nora can be one of the most caring people you’ll ever meet...You just have to get through her suspicions. She’ll do whatever she can to make her friends feel comfortable around her and to put their minds at ease. After spending a little bit of time with someone (provided that they make a good first impression), Nora is extremely sensitive to others’ feelings and thoughts. Grew Up: Nora was born in Paris, France to the Porter family. She grew up around magic and learned to love it from a very young age. However, her family tried their best to blend in to normal Muggle society. They found that they enjoyed Muggle jobs more than Wizarding jobs. She was an only child, but her parents often left her alone because of their strenuous jobs in the Muggle World. When she turned 8 her parents decided that they would move to England for a chance to start new.
They both took jobs at the Ministry of Magic and Nora began to integrate into the English society. She retained her French accent. Her life was relatively uninteresting for the next couple of years. When she turned 11 she received her Hogwarts letter and has been attending Hogwarts ever since.
