OOC: This thread doesn't exactly belong here, but I lacked another adequate place to throw it. So....here it is. Oh. And this is the "Wheel of Hecate." Just so that everyone knows for future reference. Grayson Galloway stumbled away from the grassy patch where he had just landed. He pitched forward, falling onto his face on the grass, struggling to breathe. His heart was beating at an alarmingly irregular tempo, sputtering up faster and faster and then cooling off right as he thought his blood vessels were about to explode. His body withered around on the grass as he tried to turn over onto his back to relieve some of the pressure building up in his chest, but it was useless. Even turning over provided him no relief. His hands pulled open his shirt and he desperately searched for the source of his pain. His eyes searched up and down his chest and finally, over his heart, he realized what it was. The Wheel Of Hecate had burned into his chest, right over the skin where his heart was. It was blistering and bubbling, his skin turning a sickening red and brown around the wheel, "AHHHHHHGGGGGG." He screamed out in agony, "Oh god." He cried up into the black sky, his hand pressed over the wheel on his chest. It was still burning, still radiating energy, still constricting his breathing. Then all of a sudden it was gone. The pain was gone, but the burnt wheel remained imprinted on his skin. He breathed a sigh of relief and slowly moved, adjusting to the feeling of being normal again. He was able to sit up and found himself face to face with her. She had the hood of her cloak pulled up so that all he could see were her piercing green eyes. He felt his body violently revolt against seeing her. There was something horrifying about her presence. "Galloway." She breathed into the air, her words encircling him like they were made of magic themselves. He tried to push himself backwards, but she grabbed his jaw and made him stay facing her, her nails digging into his face. She was Hecate. Real name: Catherine Herod. Age: 19. Outside of the Wizarding Community of North America, not many had heard of her. But within the circles of North America, she was respected and feared as one of the most dangerous rogue witches to ever be. She was wanted in 17 Wizarding countries around the world, all for murder of some of the greatest leaders. She was an assassin. And she was looking to gain footing in Lord Voldemort's territory. Hecate wasn't going to stop until she had. "Hecate." Grayson managed to say, even though she was tightly gripped on his cheeks. She hissed. "You failed me." She glared into his eyes, her hood falling slightly off of her head, revealing a girl with high cheekbones and a short haircut. She looked dangerous. Strangely beautiful, but dangerous, "You were supposed to kill Charity. Or Xavier. And you've done neither."

Xavier had been searching for Grayson. No one tries to kill Xavier and gets away with it. Xavier ha been looking everywhere tracking his apparation, he'd had no luck so far but this is where he should be. Xavier held his want tight, it felt as if it was about to snap. He thought Grayson would be alone but Xavier approached and saw a cloaked figure with Grayson.
Xavier ducked low; There was no telling who or what this cloaked figure was but it seemed to secrete power and Xavier didn't want to make any stupid mistakes but as if on cue he stepped on a twig and it snapped loudly. Xavier froze looking to see if he was noticed. Xavier hoped he wasn't but he raised his wand slightly.

It took Hecate 3 seconds to react to the sound. She dropped her grip on Grayson. She didn't even bother drawing her wand. She pulled her hood back over her face and spun to face the sound. It had come from her left. The snapping of a twig.
Grayson sputtered a few words that didn't end up meaning anything as he tried to regain his composure. He rubbed his eyes and then touched his burn mark. His eyes then gently traced Hecate's form moving through the forest. She was brilliant...The way that she dove in and out behind branches, stepping lightly, but moving with such a persistent purpose that he couldn't help but be in awe of her. It was no surprise that she was so widely feared.
Hecate's vibrant green eyes narrowed as she searched the trees. Then she felt a shift in the air and moved toward the disturbance. Her footing was quiet and matriculate, she moved around a tree trunk until she was behind her target. He was unsuspecting.
She recognized him as Xavier and smirked slightly to herself. He had no idea. With a quick lashing of her hand, she tightened her grip around his neck and pushed him against a tree, "Did not think that I would bee seeing you here, Xavier." She hissed, her voice low and soft. She was like a venus fly trap. Harmless until you got too close. And Xavier had gotten too close.

Xavier took a few seconds to react but by that time he was pinned to a tree by the cloaked figure he saw earlier, it was female and human but no less dangerous. Xavier spoke through choked words. "Who are you?" It was a reasonable question given the circumstances. Xavier noticed he had dropped his wand.

Hecate used her other hand to turn his face from one side to the other, examining his features, "I'm your worst nightmare, Xavier." She practically whispered and then let go of his neck. He wasn't going to kill her. He wouldn't be that stupid. She slowly lowered her hood and stared at him, her green eyes piercing his, "You're supposed to be dead." She said, her foot hovering over his wand on the ground. With one small step, she could snap the wand into two, rendering it useless.
But she didn't. She decided she would let him have a few moments to justify himself. Maybe to prove his worth before she snapped his neck. She felt her eye give a familiar twitch. She was bloodthirsty again. Ravenous. She had to dial it back or she would do something stupid.

Xavier looked down to his wand and back to...her. "I am? I didn't know maybe if you hired better help I would be...However Grayson wasn't up to the job...I however would be a most valuable asset..." Xavier tried to strengthen his case. "I would of killed Grayson..however he felt the need to flee. I don't run..unless there is a way to complete my job by doing so..."

Hecate stared at him carefully and then moved her foot away from his wand, kicking it to him and then beginning to walk back toward the clearing where Grayson still stood. She beckoned for Xavier to follow her, deeming it unnecessary to say anything at all. Hecate tried to clear her thoughts, tried not to think of how good it would feel to kill again. This Xavier might prove important to her, although, she wasn't quite sure yet. He would still have to pass her tests.
Grayson stood up straighter when Hecate came towards him. She placed her hand on the Wheel that was still blazing on his chest and smiled, "I see my calling worked." She spoke directly to him, and shook her head, "You have not proven yourself worthy, Galloway." She breathed and walked around him, her hand running over him. She could feel his pulse and it made her hunger for power even more. Her eye twitched and she took a few steps away from Grayson. She still needed him. For three years, he had been one of her most devoted followers. She was the reason that he had gotten expelled from Salem Wizarding Institute.
"Xavier. Where is your Dark Mark?" She asked, turning around to face him again, "Surely you have one." She said reaching for his arm, "If you are as powerful as you say that you are, the Dark Lord would have sought you out by now."

Sabrine was roaming around the grounds after being at the school for a short period of time, before she noticed a rather beautiful looking girl with penetrating eyes staring at a similar boy she's met before...
What's his name.. I've seen him.. Slytherin common room.. Xavier! That's it!
It looked like a rather tense scene, and Sabrine acting without thinking stepped onto it, to see another male standing next to the woman in the cloak.
"Xavier, what's wrong? Who is this woman?" Sabrine questioned, getting her wand out in case it was needed.

Xavier looked at Hecate dead on. "I have gone un-noticed by the Dark Lord however that does not mean I am not powerful.." Xavier looked over to the female who approached. "Leave me be..whoever you are..."

Hecate growled when she heard a female voice behind her. She did not like to be interrupted. She pulled out her wand a cast a few cloaking and covering charms around the four of them--Her, Grayson, Xavier, and Sabrine--so that they would not be disturbed any more. Hecate could not afford for her presence to be widely known. She wanted to lie under the radar for a while during which period she would gain information about the Dark Lord's operations.
"This woman is none of your concern." Hecate said and slowly drew her hood back up again. She was desperately not in the mood for intruders, "Grayson-" She was tempted to tell him to kill the girl, she was unimportant, but she decided against it. Another dead Hogwarts students was not her idea of lying low.
She instead turned back to Xavier and stared at him, "What can you offer me?" She asked, tilting her head slightly to the side as she looked at him.

Sabrine clutched her wand discreetly inside her jacket, aware of this strange cloaked woman that could easily make a move on her. Sabrine awkwardly stood there whilst the woman and Xavier were having a tense, almost villainous conversation.
Sabrine thought about backing away slowly, but she was going to stay to defend Xavier. Many Slytherins would question her being in her house for her kindness, but think of it as a more self-beneficial point of view. If Sabrine saved Xavier right now, then she would surely get a favor from him later, or would get on the right footing with him right now, or something, surely..

Xavier looked to Hecate. "I can offer you my service...and later on my loyalty. I am capable of anything. Any task given to me WILL be completed to exact mission perametres." Xavier wasn't an idiot he knew if he proved he was useful he'd live however he would have to probably work for her. "...I believe I could also get myself into Malfoy Manor...The home of the Dark Lord these days..."

"Bold words from a petty Slytherin." Hecate said and pressed her lips together: she extended her hand toward him, offering him a choice, "Very well. You may join me and the Hectatian Brotherhood-" She paused before giving him the. Ext choice with a nasty smile, "Or you can choose to die. What will it be?"

Charli left the Gryffindor common rooms without making eye contact with anyone to save her starting a conversation with them. She strutted down to the Hogwarts ground with her wand and Charm's book.
I need to stay ahead of my class in Charms.
When she got onto the main grounds, and looked up to see an extraordinary sight. She dropped her Charms book and ran up to what she saw, soon being repelled from the scene.
There must be some kind of Charm here so nobody can interfere.
"Hectate! Hectate!" Charli squealed with excitement from the floor that she had been repelled onto. "It's been years!" Charli shouted over to her most admired woman in the world. Charli ran back a few steps to pick up her wand and book she had dropped before she walked over to Hectate.

Xavier extended his hand and gripped tightly to Hecate's. "I would be honoured to join.." Xavier turned to look at another girl who seemed to know Hecate. He raised a questioning eyebrow. "A sister from the Brotherhood?"
