"Of course not," Genevieve answered as a woman stepped in front of her. "Just waiting for them to make themselves known." Genevieve studied the woman. Not much could be said considering she was wearing a cloak, but who else could it be but the person she was indeed hoping to find? She found herself drawn to the voice and the power that was held behind it. She had found her, now what? She focused on not letting too much of her nerves show. That would not help her case on bit if she was seen as a coward. She tried to hold eye contact, as best as one could when staring into the dark recesses of a hood, and held her posture as she waited for the woman's reply.

Waiting for them to make themselves know. Hecate repeated the sentence in her head, while she continued to stare at the girl. She seemed smart; Hecate added that to her mental checklist. She slowly circled around the girl, appraising the situation. Slytherin Robes. A seemingly vengeful attitude. Nervousness. Hecate smiled to herself, the girl had never done this before. Fresh blood, A voice inside her head said and Hecate struggled to ignore it. Now was not the time.
Hecate finally came to rest again in the exact spot where she hard started. The girl was furiously trying to hold eye contact and this made Hecate even more curious. She obviously was trying hard to not show her fear. Hecate slowly reached up and pulled her hood down, and stared at her with her piercing green eyes, "I am Hecate." She said. She did not extend her hand, but instead waiting for the girl to make her next move.

Genevieve had a hard time staying still while Hecate circled her. She usually avoided bringing attention to herself. She had to stop herself from breathing in relief when Hecate stopped circling her. When Hecate removed her hood Genevieve was surprised. She hadn't expected the woman to be beautiful, or so young looking. Though her eyes seemed to hold far more years. They were entrancing. "I'm Genevieve and I'm here because I want to ruin the Dark Lord and his wife." Genevieve figured that was explanation enough. Certainly if the woman wanted more she would get it.

"Ah. Genevieve Colville." Hecate said and fixed the black gloves at were on her hands. Of course she had made it a point to know of everyone that could be an advantage to her at Hogwarts. And Genevieve was a prime candidate. She was sought after by the Dark Lord, her parents had just been forced to join the Dark Lord and now she was seeking revenge. Perfect. She looked up at Genevieve again and smiled, "The Dark Lord is always a priority when it comes to my...Brotherhood." She said with a small, evil little grin, "Which wife are we talking about here? You know, he has two." She leaned back against the tree, but kept her eyes on the girl.
"Quinn Emory; The sickly sweet, dangerous Gryffindor. And Charity Anderson; The more dangerous wife, Slytherin." Hecate pulled off her glove and looked down at her hand. There was a large burn that went across it. Nasty time in Bali. She shook her head.

Genevieve wasn't surprised Hecate knew her name. She was surprised by Hecate's smile, though. It was as if she had been expecting her. Genevieve repressed the shiver that threatened to rack her body. She needed the help of Hecate and she shouldn't be surprised by the extent of her powers. Genevieve watched as Hecate pulled off her glove. There were the scars she had been expecting. "Quinn Emory is my main priority," She answered. "I have a personal... issue with her. But I would like to see everyone that follows him taken out." She growled, hating the idea of any of them surviving to bring him back and imprison her parents again.

"A personal vedetta." Hecate said and nodded her head. She slowly slipped her glove back on and then looked back at Genevieve, "I like the way that you think, Colville." She pushed off of the tree and walked toward the girl, closing the gap between them significantly so that she could speak more quietly. She was beginning to fear that if that many people knew that she was here, then they would come looking for her and she couldn't be overheard, "Fortunately for you, I might be able to help."
She stared at the girl for another long moment before speaking again, "That is, if you're willing to join my Brotherhood. Vow to be a Hectian Sister for life. Risk damage to your...pretty little face." It was a heavy offer and Hecate reached up and patted the girl's cheek. The Brotherhood was well respected in the States and about to become respected in the UK too if she continued recruiting followers at such an alarming speed. Who knew there were so many people willing to take down the largest power in the entire Wizarding World.

Genevieve almost answered right away. She could care less about her 'pretty face'. Hecate was offering her the power to free her parents. But to seem too eager wouldn't be beneficial. She mulled over the idea. It would be for life. It was just like becoming a Death Eater to the Dark Lord. But she was here of her own free will. No one was holding her life over her head to make her join. "I have no fears about damaging my face. All I want is to free my parents and get rid of the Dark Lord. If joining you will help me achieve that, then I will gladly risk everything and swear my loyalty and my life to you."

"So be it, then. Welcome...Sister." Hecate said with a nod. The girl wanted to join her. She would not turn away a new follower. Hecate's hand touched her chest above her heart and traced Hecate's wheel onto the girl using her sharp fingernail. Hecate smiled when she saw the light began to heat up on the girls chest. The wheel was now going to burn itself into the girl's skin, anchoring her to the Brotherhood forever. If she had any doubts, it was too late for Genevieve to get out of this one.
"Welcome, sister." Hecate said, before the pain started. Hecate took a step back, waiting for the...show to begin. It was her favorite part of the initiation process. Where she got to watch her followers realize exactly what they had gotten themselves into.

As Hecate began to trace a symbol onto Genevieve's skin, Genevieve realized just how permanent this would be. She Became frozen and numb as the symbol seemed to burn into her skin. Had she done just what her mother warned her? Was she being stupid and rash? Her parents had Joined the Dark Lord to keep her from that life, and here she is signing up o another just like it. The Pain mounted and just as Genevieve thought she could take no more, a scream ripped from her throat and the pain subsided. Her vision was blurred but as everything began to regain its color she found that she was on her hands and knees in front of Hecate. She took a deep breath and stood up tall in front of Hecate. She had made her decision and she would stick to it. She would give nothing but her best. Not knowing what was expected of her, she bowed slightly to Hecate to acknowledge her welcome.

Hecate listened to the scream and inhaled as she closed her eyes. It was like music to her ears. Sweet sweet music. Then it stopped. The girl was up before Hecate had even gotten a chance to enjoy the sounds of her pain. She needed to stop picking people who were so...pain tolerant. This secret exchange in her mind made her laugh. It was an odd sound, Hecate's laughter. Stifled and rasp, like it hadn't been used in decades. And truth be told, she hadn't laughed very much in her life. She stopped after a moment and then stared curiously at Genevieve bowing at her.
"Come with me." She said, walking through the forest and into a clearance in the trees where Grayson Galloway now sat tending a small fire. She pointed to Grayson, "Galloway. Colville. Meet." She said and crossed to a small tent. She went inside and held her head.

The Laugh that Hecate let out sent chills down Genevieve's spine. This was a trapped soul indeed. She followed Hecate into a clearing Where a boy was tending the fire and a couple of tents were set up. A strange place to camp out. When Hecate left Genevieve was left standing in front of Galloway awkwardly. She didn't know this guy at all. Was he a Hogwarts student or was he someone Hecate brought with her? She was supposed to meet him... "Erm, hello"

Grayson watched Hecate retreat. He assumed that her head was hurting her again. She tended to seek solitude whenever she couldn't handle the stress. He turned his head and looked at this 'Colville' that she had brought him. From the looks of things, she was a new recruit. He could see a small part of her wheel that was still a striking red color. He narrowed his eyes. Hecate had said she would wait. Which meant that the girl had actively sought out Hecate. He smiled slightly. That took guts.
"Hello there," He said and raised an eyebrow. He got to his feet and brushed off his hands on his pants before extending one to her, "I'm Grayson. Grayson Galloway. Gryffindor 7th year. All-American."

Genevieve shook the hand that he offered her. He was a Hogwarts student? How many other Hogwarts students were leading secret lives she didn't know about? "I'm Genevieve Colville. Slytherin sixth year." She smiled slightly. "Nice to meet you." She looked around her again. The fire's warmth was nice. Her skin was chilled, like the mark was stealing all the heat from her body. She moved closer to it as she watched Grayson, not sure what she was supposed to do.

The girl looked confused and Grayson just smiled at her, "You know, you can sit down if you want. I know that it gives you the chills. Mine burned like hell for a week." He said, pulling his shirt slightly to the side to show her the Wheel that was on his chest. He sighed and then pulled his shirt straight, "It goes away eventually. I've been with her for almost three years now." He knew it was his job to make the new recruits feel at home. Hecate wasn't exactly the most hospitable person that he knew.
"Hecate will be back eventually. She goes into fits." He explained, nodding toward the tent, "I'm assuming that you...sought her out?" He wrinkled his nose and conjured up a couple of butter beers. He handed one to her, "What could you possibly want with an assassinator?"

Genevieve eased up a bit. Grayson seemed nice enough. She took his advice and sat down with the butter beer. "Thank you," she said before she took a drink. Three years, wow. A week of pain? She rubbed slightly at the tender skin. "I did seek her out. It's an assassinator I need. Who better to join forces with to take out the Dark Lord and his minions?" She took another sip as she stared into the fire. She was still adjusting to the strange feelings of hatred and revenge that were stirring with in her.
